Well this News to me, would you send link so I can see it this liget, because just by you saying this, that this hard to believe. Example: (if you want to play "fortnight" on ps4 it not happing, YOU NEED PSN and that will force you to update if you tried to go online bro... )
you need psn to use any online servers, Every PlayStation game that uses online play are coded prolifically to connect to psn servers they no way around this. unless someone out there dedicated they life to moding ps4 "fortnight" to connect to pc servers."Why would you do that? It a waste of time....your better off play pc version. homebrew is offline only until hackes kcehach up to sony on official version. Then we will see...but that is unlikely going to happen anytime soon. Because of the Sonys security algorithm so complex it took 4 years to crack properly and It different everytime each update patch so you can see how long it takes to crack.
IT like trying to solve 1billion side rubx cube. Hacker have fun with that DX (and you know they live for that crap.)

Sorry, bro its the truth, ps4 is not as open source a pc is. Ps4 has buckled down on onlineplay hacking it gone for good. If people did not hack so much on online play ps4 would have not been so encrypted....:/ im terribly sorry if this not the good news you wanted bro....
