I was just wondering if there was a emulator for the 3ds on switch yet or if it is even possible.
 
No.
there is no 3ds emulator for the NS. your best bet right now is Citra for PC to run 3ds roms

how ever, they arent stable. sound is crappy and some framerates are so slow they are unplayable,
I had a problem in witch it corrupted my sd card, even using fat32
so i tend not to recommend emulators that will corrupt sd cards or that are buggy hence my reply above
i you know that you are doing go for it ,
