    damn it! i am away from the console that's experiencing this issue. I'll mail him over the recovery update file but should i at least attempt to fix it with a normal update first and see if it works?Also, in regard to the recovery update would it ask for a mandatory internet connection upon boot?

    From what i learned online installing the recovery firmware which is about 900mb wipes everything so i would lose my fake PKG's?

    i have a ps4 that's on the 5.05 JB and booting up in to safe mode after a power cut. It's asking me for a 5.05 update file via usb or internet connection to sony. Should i just make a usb for it containing the 5.05 update? would that wipe all the fake pkgs i had installed?

    I have jailbroken PS4 that is on the 5.05 version. Yesterday the power cut out while i was using my console and now when i boot it up it automatically boots up in to safe mode and asks me to connect the controller via a usb cable and after that it asks me to connect a USB storage device...
