Gaining proficiency is also limited by an 'appropriate level'. The game will deliberately stop you from gaining proficiency if you're too high a level. There's options here to cover that too.
Note: Unlocking subsequent BloodCodes is also limited by story/quest flags. For some, you just need to leave a bonfire with the target companion, i.e., master Lou 1, have Lou as a partner, and either talk to her directly, or leave a bonfire with her as your partner. This will then result in Lou deciding to give you Lou 2.

But there's Lou 4, so why won't Lou give you Lou 4 after you master Lou 3? Because Lou 4 has: `"TimeSeriesCondition": [ "Environment.TimeSeriesType.Past.Disaster"]`
And another: Holly 3 has a similar time condition, but also has an additional `MainEpisode.Holly >= e30510` condition.
Point is, this is not stopping you from getting whatever the next level is. The game is doing that all on its own.

- Fast BloodCode Mastery: Does what it says.
- Fast BloodCode Mastery (Ignore Appropriate Level): BloodCodes only gain proficiency if the enemy you're killing is "of an appropriate level". This changes that level to 1 so it won't matter. (If it isn't obvs enough, this does both.)
- Normal BloodCode Mastery (Ignore Appropriate Level): Has only the 'appropriate level' restriction removed.
Installing
