The software icon on the home menu is a gray circle with a loading symbol. The software says checking and then has an error. I installed the XCI Pokemon from this forum with DBI installer over usb. Any idea on how to fix?

Delete the game
And try boot with fusee.bin instead of hekate and install xci with DBI
