Would it be possible to mount the GATER’s autocannon turret on one of the Bastion’s passenger hatches and let the player in that seat operate it independently?
The idea is to keep the main gunner focused on the Bastion’s cannon, while another crew member provides 360-degree fire support with the GATER turret, covering enemies approaching from the sides and rear.
I’d like this to be an additional, player-operated weapon, keeping the Bastion’s existing main cannon and coaxial machine gun working normally. Ideally, both gunners could aim and fire independently at the same time.
Could something like this be done with the current modding tools? If so, would everyone in the squad need the mod, or just the host?
