Idk if the devs of some mods even know about this site. Not to mention some devs are probably dead or can't be bothered to post here

Please consider changing Rule 1 to allow posting mods from other creators

The now fourth bullet seems to contradict the first bullet. Do I not need the mod author's consent to upload if the site in which it's currently being hosted is about to shut down? I feel like rule 1 is completely unnecessary because a lot of the content on this side of the internet is done without respecting either devs or their fanbase

What do you think this is? I've updated rule #01 to make it clearer: the first bullet now explicitly states it only applies to active, reachable creators, so the exceptions no longer contradict it. The core rule still stands, but hopefully this removes the confusion you pointed out that prevents everyone from being confused or misunderstanding. I hope this helps you.
【 Rule #01 】 Respect Modders Decisions
- Do not repost or redistribute mods from active, reachable creators without their consent. If a mod is shared on AyakaMods by its author, respect that decision.
- If the author is no longer active or has passed away, you may repost their mod on AyakaMods with full credit.
- If you tried to contact the author and received no response within 2 months, you may repost their mod on AyakaMods with full credit.
- If the site hosting the mod is shutting down or facing takedown, you may archive and repost it on AyakaMods with full credit.
- In all cases, you shall credit the original author by name in the mod description.
