You'll have to host your own exploit page if you really want 1.8 now. Al Azif hasn't added the modded 1.8 HEN to his DNS exploit so far but I saw a Tweet from him some days ago that he will most likely add it.

HEN 1.8 (the one from psxhax) just adds the flatz remote installer stuff. It has no other improvements. So sleep mode works the same way as it works in all HEN versions before which for some means it works but for the majority it doesn't work.
