The Machine God (or God of Machines) is a concept that appears in various science fiction and fantasy universes. It generally refers to a deity, artificial intelligence, or supernatural entity that is the source of all technology, creation, or knowledge.
Deus Ex Machina (Latin: God from the Machine)
In classic theater and literary analysis, the phrase Deus ex machina does not refer to a machine deity, but rather to a plot device.
Origin: It translates to "God out of the machine," referring to a technique in ancient Greek plays where a god would be mechanically lowered onto the stage to magically resolve an otherwise impossible, unsolvable conflict for the main characters.
