Version 1.2.0 is released!​

After several internal changes to the mod, and its additions... Version 1.2.0 of Blanka UI has been released. This version contains several significant changes to the mod's internal components, as well as almost complete overhauls of plugins such as "LSMod" and the settings menu.

The changes are as follows:

  • Extensive modifications to LSMod, now called LSLMod.1
I made changes to LSMod, the plugin that darkened the loading screens... It's now called LSLMod.1 (LoadingScreensLogon) in the internal files "in case you want to make modifications to it (not recommended)." LSLMod.1 now replaces the backgrounds with pre-adapted images that correspond to each region the player teleports to. It also allows you to change both the icons of the elements displayed when the game loads, as well as the style and position of the central icon when entering each region of the game.
NOTE: Some loading screens do not contain central icons or do not correspond to normal loading screens. These include loading screens for special events and/or special dialogs. In these cases, only the black screen or the original default screen will be displayed, regardless of the chosen configuration.

  • Changes to the elemental icons, a new settings section, and a visual change to the mod's settings menu
As I mentioned earlier, the element icons can be changed in the settings menu. In the new settings section, you can choose between the new elemental icon design or the original ones; choose between the new loading screens for each region or the classic dark background; and change the style and appearance of the central icon for each game region. I also changed the menu design to one that, in my opinion, is cleaner than the previous one.

POSSIBLE ERRORS:

You may encounter graphical glitches in some areas, on loading screens, or with other visual elements of the game. These glitches could be caused by the DarkModeFix.ini file. This file can be deleted (it won't break the mod), but the screens may appear too dark in some cases. The path to this file is: .../BlankaUI/UI_Modifications/UI_Extras/LoadingScreensLogon

I quote what is described in the GB WIP:​

Because some people told me that using the "K" key interferes with the functionality of some mods, I decided to change the function key layout for accessing the mod's settings menu.

The new configuration is the combination of the "Alt" key + "middle mouse button".

I also added a message that appears when entering the pause menu (when paimon appears) indicating this new key combination.

I plan to add an additional key layout, based on my keyboard layout. This layout would be as follows:

This layout would be adapted to my keyboard configuration and wouldn't have to be the same as the others.

To switch between different key combinations, you can change the variable $conf_type = 0 in [Constants] within the Blanka.Conf.Menu.ini file, located in: ..\BlankaUI\UI_Selector

In addition, 3 new background types were added to the character display menu, as follows:

They're not the best backgrounds (especially the last one), but it's what I could do for the moment, without the "seams" of the texture being too noticeable... Something I won't be able to fix by referring to the first background I made (the one with the mountains).

Heyyyy... In the new version, not much has changed. Only the game's startup logo has been updated, based on the results of the poll posted in the WIP.
The new logo is this:

There are no other changes besides this... except for some icons that were redesigned to match the mod's changes.
Several textures have been refactored due to changes made by HYV in the new version of the game.

Hello everyone!

The mod's settings menu has been completely updated. New modification options have been added, as well as the option to swap the interface icons with those from the previous mod (base mod): Cip-style HUD...

NOTES: Since Cip Style HUD hasn't been updated in two years, I had to create the missing icons, starting with those already present in Blanka UI. I must say that while the result is acceptable, it's not perfect, and some icons won't perfectly match the visual style.

Those are all the changes at the moment. We plan to keep future changes to a minimum, and only implement bug fixes with each game version update.

I don't know if you'll be able to see anything... The GIF compression might have reduced the quality a bit too much.

This version probably has bugs (I just finished it, at almost 2 AM, so my judgment isn't the best). If you encounter any problems, let me know in the comments and I'll try to find a solution.

Heeeeeyyyyyyy......!

I've made some last-minute changes. Due to issues I was having with CoverUID, I switched to HideUID 2.0 (adapted for BlankaUI). I also made some minor changes to the Miliastra Wonderland interface (believe me, no matter what, that interface is unfixable):

I changed the menu background and Paimon's icon for this mode (I'll probably change the Paimon logo in the future... I'm not happy with how it turned out)

This version was classified as "Beta" because there are still bugs...


IMPORTANT WARNING!: For reasons I don't understand, and presumably due to a bug... When you play a game in Miliastra Wonderland, the corner UID will be bugged and will no longer take effect. Also, your UID will be locked in place (it doesn't matter if you return to the home screen and log back in. The corner UID will still be there until you close and restart the game).

Due to some missing hashes (and the appearance of some unfixable bugs, for now), this version will be released as ALPHA. However, I've tried to keep as much of the mod functional for this version. I've made changes to the icons, the cursor (which I replaced with the cursor from a certain indie game), and changed the game's startup logo to the following:

I've changed more icons and tweaked the existing ones, but I'm too lazy to take screenshots, so I reused the screenshots I posted in BlankaUI_'s WIP :p Anyway, that's all for now.

Hey, everyone!

With the new version of the game, I'm surprised that so many things haven't broken in Blanka UI. So far, I haven't seen any complex bugs beyond the usual ones in each version. Here's what's been fixed:

- Map/Minimap icon fix: It's a common thing now... The icons on the map have been fixed for the new version (this time the icons have been split into two textures... I guess it's because the map is bigger now, I speculate).

- Genshin Impact logo change, at the start of the game: Hoyoverse changed the startup logo, which also changed the texture hash... Before this I had already prepared a new logo, it was the following:

But then I updated the game and... SURPRISE! They'd changed the logo. To save time, I just adjusted the corresponding hash and made a small adjustment to the original texture, resulting in a result that looked like this:

That's all for now... If there are any problems, please don't hesitate to comment... I'll try to fix it later.
Bug fix patch!
This patch is a revision of the previous update (1.1.4_5.8) due to the fact that it contained significant bugs (see the WIP on gamebanana for more information).
This patch has been used to add a new feature, the "fake starry sky":

The following features have been fixed/modified/added:
- UID hider modification:
The color of the UID hider in the Paimon menu has been slightly changed, and the UID hider has also been added to the player card (currently working at 1080p resolution, so I don't know if there will be issues with other resolutions).

- Mod Appearance Selector: A selector menu has been added to change things like: the north indicator icon on the minimap; the minimap border; and enabling/disabling/intermediate UID Hider mode. The other features are still disabled (or I haven't gotten them to work fully yet). To learn how the selector works, press the "K" key to see the following menu:

Both the appearance of this menu and any attempt to modify the mod will only work if you are on the main screen of the game (i.e., the screen you see while playing). On other screens, you will not be able to make modifications (and the menu will not appear).

- Character menu changes: The background in the character menu has been slightly changed, which previously looked like this:

It should be noted that this modification is buggy... just don't look up and everything will be fine. This modification also applies to the display window on the PB.
