Combined Community Mods (All-in-One) v14

A Mod for Helldivers 2
Combined Community Mods (All-in-One) akl_mod_preview_image
A merge of some of the best community mods! I decided to merge these together as independently they were all editing each others files and it was causing issues.

This is a stand-alone mod. It edits the game files directly.

Extract anywhere (not in game files)
Click "Combined Community Mods.exe"
Make sure the game is closed down
Edit whatever you want

Enjoy

v10 added option to change Integrated Explosives to any of the below:

Hellpod Steering and Drop fix was my workaround as the old method is dead. The default settings should feel similar to CowboyBingus' original fix, however it relies on a different method so it may feel a bit wonky. There are some adjustable settings in there I left in testing, including the comedic "Long" drop... Have fun dropping from outside the planet and waiting 30 seconds to land 😂

I tried my best to get other QoL fixes a workaround but I wasn't able to. If anyone manages to scrap together a working standalone fix for the other QoL mods using the same method here of editing game files, and wants to be included - drop me a DM.

Please stop asking me "can you include X mod", "what about X mod?", there's a 99% chance it won't work.

All credit to the individual mod creators:
Shodan - Shodan
Armory Forge - hung1510
Stratagem Bounce Fix / Arc Thrower Auto Attack - CowboyBingus
Consistent Vaulting - Medic3038

Virus total flagged this for malware, (1 out of 68).
Not sure why people keeping commenting this. An .exe being flagged as a Trojan is normal, it doesn't automatically mean it's malware. Antivirus software uses heuristics to detect suspicious behaviour, and modding tools often trigger them because they inject DLLs, modify memory or lack digital signatures. These are false positives. A detection is not definitive proof of a virus.

On the same note - those asking if this can get them banned. The answer is no. Arrowhead have publicly announced they don't even have the ability to ban anyone, even if they wanted to.

Since people aren't reading the description:

Please stop asking me "can you include X mod", "what about X mod?", there's a 99% chance it won't work.

Used the new version, no Arsenal mods installed (purged), restored game files inside CCM, used your armor passive preset with all values at default (NOT using all 32, I am using your exact screenshot traits), installed to game files, entered my hellpod, picked my stratagems, readied up and still crashing.
Purging your Arsenal mods doesn't mean your game installation is clean. Purging only removes files managed by the mod manager, not necessarily anything left behind or installed manually. More importantly, your logs show CCM is still modifying all 32 armour passive records.. That doesn't mean you've selected 32 passives, but it does mean you're running several modifications simultaneously. So telling me you've purged your mods doesn't actually establish anything. You need to restore the original game files, check for leftover mod files, verify through Steam and confirm the game runs completely unmodified. THEN test Forge on its own. Otherwise we're just going round in circles with absolutely no evidence of what's causing your crash. And you appear to be the only one this is affecting.

May I ask, when you update this mod, do I only need to download the latest version, or should I delete the old mod folder first?

I would just delete the previous files and folders. It should still load your settings.

how to uninstall the mod? or just close the tab?
Click "Restore the game's files" at the bottom of the menu. Then delete the files and folders.

I'm 99% certain I discovered the issue. I had changed some values in Records (specifically, I changed the Apex rounds from 60mm to 20mm, and made another alteration to the Stoker that I don't remember). After disabling these, my game started working again. I also disabled 13 Stratagem modifications I did, and will redo them one by one to be 100% certain that none of them were causing the issue (I still have 50 other stratagem edits active.)

I did encounter what seems to be a bug in the installer itself. The installer kept saying "Forge: 32 passives" every time I installed, even if I had only 1 passive enabled. I also never, at any point, had all 32 passives enabled (I had a lot at first, but definitely not 32.)

Either way, the problem's solved now. The most likely reason why no one else is experiencing this issue is probably because they haven't dabbled with Records (or at least with Apex and Stoker records). It appears changing those values prevents the mission from initializing when everyone is ready in their drop pods.

The host patcher (SHODANStatEditorHost.exe) seems to be iterating over and injecting all 32 passive definitions defined in its master table into generated_customization_passive_bonuses.dl_bin whenever Forge is active (or failing to clear its cached state between runs), regardless of how many individual checkboxes I actually selected in the UI.

Thanks for the correspondence. Appreciate you ♥

EDIT: Found the bug with 100% certainty. I'm 100% confident that Applying 500kg as a paired stratagem to Orbital Precision Strike in Shodan's editor causes crashes on Choepessa IV. (Potentially other planets as well; haven't tested.) What's weird is that this wasn't happening before yesterday, so it might have something to do with the ongoing in-game event.

Additional bugged combos (crash on hellpod initialization, tested with no mods at all and verified files except for CCM):

Orbital 380 + Orbital 120

Orbital Walking Barrage + Orbital Napalm

I found that some off-hand weapons and thrown items don't work in the game after their stats are modified。。。<:)

is there a way to make a toggle to make the enemy corpses despawn faster? it tends to get very unstable when there are a lot of dead enemies, especially against the automatons

In the armory forge, the perk stacks are set to "first wins stacking" and unchangeable, was this intentional?

can you add a feature to update the mod manually? Like shodan can do?
