This mod restores the "Hard" graffiti next to the R Shop neon sign, which was present in the original PS5 release, but then was replaced by a different piece of graffiti reading "Crime" in a patch on the 24th April 2024.

Installation:

Extract the mod's contents (HardR_P.pak, HardR_P.ucas and HardR_P.utoc) from the zip file into "StellarBlade\SB\Content\Paks\~mods"

Note - When the developers replaced this texture, they also slightly decreased the size of it on the wall. To keep this mod to a minimal size, I have left this as just a simple texture swap rather than trying to match exactly how it looked originally. That being said, you can only see the difference in size if you compare the results of this mod with screenshots from the original PS5 version.

Great question. This replaces the vanilla "CRIME" graffiti with the "HARD" graffiti in all places as it's a simple texture and mask swap.

At the time of making the mod, I was not aware the "CRIME" texture was used in other areas of the game, ironically until about 30 minutes after I posted it elsewhere. But I'm the same as you, I don't know whether those other uses had the "CRIME" texture or the "HARD" texture on the day 1 PS5 version. Obviously if those other places have always shown "CRIME", then the mod needs to be reworked to only replace the one use next to Roxanne's Shop. I will wait till I hear information about the day 1 PS5 version before I dedicate time into learning how to achieve this.

I went through the exact same thought process when I was naming the mod. It felt necessary to put the context of the journalist's outrage into the name of the mod as a call back and to make it easier to find.

I greatly appreciate you giving me credit in the description, even if I made my username elsewhere just a first name It is great to see it spread to other sites like here.

As of me writing this, I have released version 1.1 with an updated description and screenshots, which increases the size to be closer to the original PS5 version. Hopefully you're able to update it here.

Shift Up are still cvcks for bending the knee to that IGN sewer creature or whoever it was who started this ridiculous "outrage". Literally no sane person would've noticed this. Shift Up should've brought the "Hard R" back in the PC release but I guess they're not based enough for that.

For some reason, neither this version nor the one on DEGmods do anything for me, the space next to the "R Shop" is empty no matter which version I use and no matter what setting I pick for the environment texture quality. Am I missing something?
