# Eagle Auto Rearm - Passive Eagle Resupply
**Your Eagle stratagems automatically regain charges over time. No manual rearming required!**
## Overview
**Eagle Auto Rearm** adds passive charge regeneration to your Eagle stratagems.
Whenever you use an Eagle stratagem, a hidden cooldown timer starts. Once it finishes, **every Eagle stratagem in your loadout regains 1 use**, up to its maximum capacity.
No stratagem inputs, no extra keybinds, no menus. Just keep spreading democracy!
The vanilla **Eagle Rearm** stratagem remains fully functional, so you can still manually send Eagle-1 back to the Super Destroyer whenever you need a full resupply.
## Core Features
- **Passive Recharge**
Using any Eagle stratagem starts a short rearm timer. Once it finishes, all equipped Eagle stratagems regain 1 charge each, without exceeding their individual limits.
- **One Shared Timer**
All Eagle stratagems share a single recharge timer. Using any Eagle stratagem resets the countdown.
- **Adaptive Charge Limits**
Each Eagle stratagem respects its actual maximum charge capacity, including the +1 use bonus from the **Expanded Weapons Bay** ship module. Players without the upgrade won't receive any extra charges they shouldn't have.
- **Vanilla Rearm Unchanged**
The original Eagle Rearm stratagem works exactly as before. You can still manually trigger a full resupply with the standard longer cooldown.
- **Automatic Pause When Empty**
If all your Eagle charges are depleted, the game's normal full rearm takes over. Passive regeneration pauses completely until your charges are restored. Once they're back, the next recharge cycle starts from scratch.
## On-Screen Countdown
An optional HUD displays your Eagle recharge timer.
It uses a single line, positioned **7 lines below the P2P Ping display**, in the same column.
Example:
- `Eagle CD=55s` — Recharge in progress.
- `Eagle CD=--` — Idle.
- `Eagle CD=NONE` — No Eagle stratagems equipped.
Don't need the extra HUD clutter? You can disable the countdown in the mod settings.
## Settings
**Mod Options Menu → EAGLE AUTO REARM**
- `Enabled` — Enable/disable Eagle Auto Rearm. (Default: ON)
- `rearm_seconds` — Base Eagle rearm time, 60–300 seconds. (Default: 150)
- `rearm_ratio` — Passive recharge multiplier, 0.1–0.5. (Default: 0.3)
- `dive_seconds` — Additional dive delay, 5–15 seconds. (Default: 10)
- `hud_text` — Show/hide the on-screen countdown. (Default: ON)
### Recharge Formula
`Recharge Interval = round(rearm_seconds × rearm_ratio) + dive_seconds`
**Default settings:**
`round(150 × 0.3) + 10 = 55 seconds`
**With Pit Crew Hazard Pay** (120s rearm):
`round(120 × 0.3) + 10 = 46 seconds`
That means you'll regain **1 charge for every equipped Eagle stratagem every 55 seconds by default**, assuming the timer isn't reset by another Eagle use.
## Requirements
- **Bingus Shared Loader (BSL)** — Required.
- **Mod Options Menu (MOM)** — Optional but recommended. Without it, the mod runs with the default settings listed above.
- A compatible mod manager, such as **HD2 Arsenal** or **HD2MM**.
## Installation
1. Close **Helldivers 2**.
2. Import the ZIP file into your mod manager.
3. Make sure **Bingus Shared Loader** is placed above this mod in the load order.
4. Deploy the mod and restart the game.
If you have **Mod Options Menu** installed, you can customize everything in-game:
`ESC → MODS → EAGLE AUTO REARM → Adjust Settings → Apply`
## Compatibility
- Fully preserves vanilla Eagle stratagem usage, cooldowns, and the manual Eagle Rearm stratagem.
- Does not replace the original rearm system. It simply adds passive charge regeneration on top of it.
- Supports the **Expanded Weapons Bay** ship module and its +1 Eagle stratagem charge bonus.
- Changes are applied locally to your own Eagle stratagems.
