This mod turns the MA5C into a lore-accurate MA5B. It fires harder-hitting rounds from a 60-round magazine at 900 RPM, and they punch through crowds. The trade-off is the MA5B's famously wide spread.

- Damage increased from 90 to 100
- Durable damage increased from 16 to 25
- Fire rate increased from 640 to 900 RPM
- Magazine capacity increased from 32 to 60 rounds
- Spare magazines increased from 8 to 10 (you start with 8)
- Penetration slowdown reduced from 25% to 2.5%: bullets keep going through enemies
- Spread increased from 2/2 to 90/90

It now holds a total combat load of 660 rounds.

Wow that's insane, good job, I couldn't find how to change RPM, I'm gonna learn a lot from your mod thanks!

Thank you for making this mod! I think it is super cool, really feels like the OG Halo AR, spread included!

That said, I think the spare magazines should be kept the same or, if anything, lowered. Here are two reasons to have less than the Halo lore-accurate amount:
1. Spartans should physically be able to carry more than Helldivers.
2. Super Earth Armed Forces has lower standards of operating procedure than the UNSC.

Setting that aside and considering balance, even your buffed Adjudicator mod holds HALF as much firepower as this.

If you express firepower as Damage per Bullet x Magazine Capacity x Total magazines, your buffed Adjudicator mod holds 31,050 potential damage vs this mod's whopping 66,000 potential damage. Not saying those numbers have to be the same, just pointing out what I see as a discrepancy.

A more balanced version would be nice!

You could do that yourself if you want a more balanced version. I'm happy with shodan's version.

go to the file 9ba626afa44a3aa3.patch_0 in the package, see these from lines 44 to 46 :

{ offset = 140, kind = 'u32', value = 8, max = 1000 }, = starting/current magazine count
{ offset = 144, kind = 'u32', value = 10, max = 1000 }, = refill amount per ammo box
{ offset = 148, kind = 'u32', value = 10, max = 1000 }, = maximum/reserve magazine count

Edit the values how you want. So if you want only 5 maximum mags, you would to this :

{ offset = 140, kind = 'u32', value = 4, max = 1000 },
{ offset = 144, kind = 'u32', value = 5, max = 1000 },
{ offset = 148, kind = 'u32', value = 5, max = 1000 },

That means 4 starting mags, 5 refill mag per ammo box and 5 maximum mag count.

Save the file and replace it in the zip. Delete the old mod, purge, import the new one, deploy, enjoy.

Can we get a version without the spread?
I love all the other changes and I understand you're being game accurate but a 45 times increase is a bit much lol

See my comment over yours? Just do the following changes instead :

Line 53 and 54 :
{ offset = 84, kind = 'f32', value = 90.0, max = 1000 },
{ offset = 88, kind = 'f32', value = 90.0, max = 1000 },

change the 90 to what you want, 2 is the original :
{ offset = 84, kind = 'f32', value = 2.00, max = 1000 },
{ offset = 88, kind = 'f32', value = 2.00, max = 1000 },
Yes two "0" after the dot because the script expect the same amount of characters. I tested it and it works.
