This mod replaces the background of the map pages with a darker grainy background to make the actual playable map more readable. This can be useful for people who prefer higher contrast between objects, or need an easier way to see what parts of the map are actually playable and in bounds.

Simply unzip the 3 files and place them into your game's directory. By default this is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SILENT HILL f\SHf\Content\Paks\~mods

If you do not have a ~mods folder, you can create it manually.
