Pelican Air Support 0.1.3

A Mod for Helldivers 2
Overview History
Pelican Air Support akl_mod_preview_image
Pelican Air Support

Deploy a Pelican gunship from low orbit to provide devastating close air support. Upon arrival, the craft performs a low-altitude strafing run for 20 seconds. It then ascends to a higher attack altitude, providing an additional 60 seconds of sustained aerial fire support before disengaging and returning to orbit.

Particularly effective against tanks, heavily armored targets, and large enemy formations.

Cooldown: 3 minutes
Uses: Unlimited

Features
  • Custom Pelican Air Support stratagem.

Requirements
  • HD2Runtime 0.30.3 or a compatible newer version.
  • Bingus Shared Loader v15 or above.

Known Issues
  • Mod only works for single player or as a host for multiplayer. (Will be on 1 hour cooldown when joining random lobbies.)
  • Stratagem timer is incorrect.

Installation
  1. Download the mod.
  2. Import it using the supported mod manager or loader workflow.
  3. Enable the mod and its dependencies.
  4. Launch the game and check the custom stratagem interface.
FAQ
  • Can we modify the stats?
Not yet. Will implement soon.
  • Does it work with HD2Arsenal?
Yes.
  • Why is the stratagem on a hour-long cooldown
It's because you are not the host of the lobby. You must be the host in order to use the stratagem.
  • Future plans?
SEAF squadron Stratagem
APC Stratagem
Unreleased Stratagem Support; Eagle Air to Air, Incendiary Recon vehicle, Defense Wall, Trench Wall, Grenade Launcher Incendiary, ST-1 Stinger, Carpet Bomb, etc

i feel like a three min cooldown is too long

if its using the same gun that the pelican uses when dropping vehicles down, i would say the cooldowns fine, that gun is devestating, and pinpoint accurate, having it rain down fire for a whole minute, 3 mins sounds fair to me

SEAF squadron Stratagem

Wait, don't we have a mod for that made by medic that replaces a current stratagem? You mean, a reiforcement of SEAF grunts only as a custom independent stratagem?

anytime I use these mods they ALWAYS default to the hour long cooldown
I give up on these kinds of damn mods they will never work for me unless I do it in vanilla and only have the 3 needed to do it

Does it turn around while following the caller? The other Pelican air support mod (the CoD VTOL one) doesn't turn while flying so the autocannon gets stuck since it cannot rotate 360 degrees.
