new in switch need help

i am owner of a wii and ps4
everything hacked ofcourse
now i am willing to buy a switch....what to ask ..what i have to watch before buy one? if i get a new is it breakable ? need specific firmware so i can soft mod ?

If you are going to try to softmod it, then you need a mark 1 Switch, which are getting harder to get hold of, and sometimes a bit costly, all other Switch's have to be chipped, which again can be costly, and you need to be good at soldering.
