so im new to this jailbreaking thing, can i go online with my ps4 ( on 5.05) and download games i have purchased and not update to the latest firmware and will i be able to use those downoad loaded games offline

no you can't, you have to update your ps4 to the latest fw to play online but you will lose the jailbreak, maybe in the future like ps3
