Goal
The existing 9.5 SMG changes as a focused pack. The planned SMG rework is a later update.

Version 9.5 — installation and scope
Install with the Helldivers 2 Mod Manager, then enable the individual equipment options you want. Restart after changing selections. Requires HD2Runtime 0.40.0, Bingus Mod Loader 18 or later, and the VanillaPlus baseline used by the main 9.5 release. Wait for patches to settle and spawn fresh equipment.
Use the main Arsenal Accord mod OR the standalone packs; do not install both. The standalone packs can be combined with one another. Each item has one owner pack; shared native bullet/damage records are the exception described below.
Arsenal Accord - Progress is an optional separate loading display that combines the installed packs into one bar. There is no embedded progress bar, chat announcement or kicking system in this balance pack.

Shared native records
Identical shared edits are included where needed and applied once across the standalone packs. This is not full native-record isolation: other equipment using the same bullet, damage or status record can inherit those fields even without its own pack installed.

M7S SMG

m7s_smg-large-final.png

Why the change?
Stable suppressed fire with medium penetration at clean angles. Lower standard damage trades raw body-shot output for penetration, durable damage and controllable handling. Quiet hardware. Unmistakable intent.

Video reference — GRASS: Buffed M7S SMG

Armor penetration at direct impact: 2 → 3

Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1

Armor penetration at slight angle: 2 → 3

Displayed penetration label: Light → Medium

Durable damage: 18 → 25

Ergonomics: 90 → 95

Fire rate in RPM: 872 → 900

Projectile speed in metres per second: 320 → 427

Standard damage: 90 → 75

Sway multiplier: 1 → 0.4

Current loadout: 75/25 damage; AP 3/3/2/1; 48 rounds + 7 spare magazines = 384 maximum rounds; 5 starting spares; supply 7 magazines, ammo box 3; horizontal/vertical recoil 4.75/12. Suppression, one-handed use and stock reload timing are retained.

MP-98 Knight

mp_98_knight-large-final.png

Why the change?
Knight's rapid-fire role depends on surviving its own ammunition appetite. Faster magazine reloads, more reserves and stronger supply recovery support repeated bursts, with a small projectile-mass adjustment retained from the current tuning.

Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1

Projectile mass in grams: 7 → 6

Extended Magazine

Attachment ergonomics modifier: -15 → -10

Magazines per supply pickup: 5 → 10

Reload duration in seconds: 3 → 2.5

Spare magazines: 5 → 7

Short Magazine

Magazines per supply pickup: 7 → 14

Reload duration in seconds: 2.5 → 2

Spare magazines: 7 → 11

SMG-203 Gallant

smg_203_gallant-large-final.png

Why the change?
Gallant becomes a responsive, faster-projectile SMG with a modest damage increase. Better reloads and ammunition recovery support active use, while the lighter projectile keeps its ballistic profile distinct.

Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1

Durable damage: 13 → 14

Ergonomics: 80 → 90

Projectile mass in grams: 7 → 4

Projectile speed in metres per second: 450 → 715

Standard damage: 65 → 70

Extended Magazine

Attachment ergonomics modifier: -15 → -10

Magazines per supply pickup: 5 → 10

Reload duration in seconds: 3 → 2.5

Magazines per supply pickup: 7 → 14

Reload duration in seconds: 2.5 → 2

Spare magazines: 7 → 11

SMG-32 Reprimand

smg_32_reprimand-large-final.png

Why the change?
Its handling should support an SMG playstyle. A slightly heavier SMG should not become so cumbersome that ordinary attachments undermine the reason to bring it. A reprimand should be delivered promptly, even while moving.

Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1

Durable damage: 32 → 37

Ergonomics: 55 → 75

Magazines per supply pickup: 9 → 14

Projectile speed in metres per second: 285 → 530

Spare magazines: 9 → 17

Standard damage: 140 → 145

Sway multiplier: 1 → 0.9

SMG-37 Defender

smg_37_defender-large-final.png

Why the change?
Defender keeps its familiar firing behavior and improves the time spent ready to shoot. Faster magazine reloads and better supply recovery reinforce a dependable one-handed workhorse role.

Drum Magazine

Attachment ergonomics modifier: -15 → -10

Magazines per supply pickup: 4 → 8

Reload duration in seconds: 3.3 → 2.5

Spare magazines: 4 → 5

Extended Magazine

Magazines per supply pickup: 7 → 14

Reload duration in seconds: 2.8 → 2

Spare magazines: 7 → 9

Short Magazine

Magazines per supply pickup: 12 → 18

Reload duration in seconds: 2.3 → 1.5

SMG-72 Pummeler

smg_72_pummeler-large-final.png

Why the change?
Pummeler receives stronger stun application and durable damage, balanced by substantially more vertical recoil. Better logistics support repeated control bursts, but aim recovery remains part of earning that interruption.

Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1

Durable damage: 17 → 21

Primary status strength: 2 → 3

Vertical recoil climb: 10 → 30

Drum Magazine

Attachment ergonomics modifier: -15 → -10

Magazines per supply pickup: 4 → 8

Reload duration in seconds: 3.3 → 2.5

Spare magazines: 4 → 5

Extended Magazine

Magazines per supply pickup: 7 → 14

Reload duration in seconds: 2.8 → 2

Spare magazines: 7 → 9

Short Magazine

Magazines per supply pickup: 12 → 18

Reload duration in seconds: 2.3 → 1.5

SMG/FLAM-34 Stoker

smg_flam_34_stoker-large-final.png

Why the change?
Stoker becomes quicker to handle and less sluggish ballistically, with better magazine logistics. More vertical recoil preserves a cost to its close-range versatility. Bring the tools onto target, then control the burst.

Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1

Durable damage: 30 → 32

Ergonomics: 60 → 90

Projectile mass in grams: 15 → 9

Projectile speed in metres per second: 285 → 405

Vertical recoil climb: 15 → 25

Drum Magazine

Attachment ergonomics modifier: -15 → -10

Magazines per supply pickup: 4 → 7

Reload duration in seconds: 3.3 → 2.5

Spare magazines: 4 → 5

Extended Magazine

Magazines per supply pickup: 5 → 10

Reload duration in seconds: 2.8 → 2

Spare magazines: 5 → 7

Short Magazine

Magazines per supply pickup: 13 → 18

Reload duration in seconds: 2.3 → 1.5

Spare magazines: 13 → 14

StA-11 SMG

sta_11_smg-large-final.png

Why the change?
StA-11's existing 9.5 pass slows its cadence and improves handling while keeping the compact one-handed role. More starting spares support that loadout from deployment. Its later high-durable ammunition rework remains part of the future SMG patch.

Noise and one-handed behavior remain stock: Small / Yes.

Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1

Ergonomics: 80 → 90

Fire rate in RPM: 1050 → 786

Projectile mass in grams: 7 → 6

Starting spare magazines: 5 → 7

Current loadout: 90/18 damage; AP 2/2/2/1; 48 rounds + 7 spare magazines = 384 maximum rounds; 7 starting spares; supply 7 magazines, ammo box 3; sway 0.7; projectile mass 6 g through its shared record. Reload timing remains stock.

Credits and validation
Built from the published Arsenal Accord 9.5 settings, including GRASS-derived work and the Accord revisions identified above. Current HD2Runtime exposes the fields used by these packages. The standalone archives passed API, option-selection and combined-load-order checks; these checks are not a new live gameplay test. Breakpoint charts are calculated estimates under their stated assumptions. Use balance mods with a consenting squad.
