About using Options instead of publishing multiple versions, from my experience:
- some people would not like that the mod gets bigger in size
- also, do not necessarily know how options work, forget about them, or are not even aware these exist
Also, there are (currently) only two versions: version A and version B.
The differences are:
1) Combat music instrumental (some with chorus).
2) Same combat music, but some lyrics-based tracks for the Intense Battle music.
3) Common music instrumental.
4) Common music using lyrics-based.
Version A uses 1+3
Version B uses 2+4
What combination do you wish to use?
I was thinking to do version B with 2+3, but believe this is not necessary, and could even be confusing.
1+4 would not really make sense.
In the end, I believe it's better to provide separate versions, which are then clearly listed in the mod manager.
