Description
Enhanced Blood makes combat in Dragon's Dogma 2 significantly bloodier! With more splashes and heavier impacts and increasingly brutal effects as fights go on.
Rather than simply scaling up every blood particle or just increasing the amount of particles this mod uses a dynamic system that takes weapon types and attack strength, combat duration, finishers, and enemy size into account.
Light weapons differ from heavy weapons and large from small enemies. The mod uses the games existing blood effects; preserving their visual identity.
The goal is: visceral & cinematic combat that still looks and feels like Dragon's Dogma 2.

Installation instructions
Using Fluffy Mod Manager:
Main features
Dynamic combat escalation
Each enemy has its own six stage escalation system. As a fight continues and more hitsland the blood effects become progressively more pronounced.
The system considers both combat duration and chain attacks. Heavier weapons and powerful skills contribute more. Escalation gradually decreases when an enemy stops taking damage with higher stages taking longer to decay.
Weaponsensitive blood effects
Different attacks produce different amounts and combinations of blood.
Enhanced finishers and executions
Special attacks receive their own blood effects, including cinematic finishers, slowmotion attacks and attacks performed while climbing monsters. Currently not all classes and all skills have gotten a custom-effect pass yet.
Bloodier monster deaths
Killing blows can produce additional splashes and secondary droplets.
The effects vary with monster size and the combat stage as well as the killing attack used. Larger monsters and longer battles can result in significantly bloodier deaths.
Attack-aware blood direction
Additional blood effects can take the attack direction into account.
Ground Blood!
Blood Decals are greatly enhanced and stay in the world for up to a minute!
Headshots!
Headshot finishers and subtle headshot slowmotion for bows. Don't worry, it's purely cosmetic!
Death Pools!
After killing most enemies blood will start to pool beneath them!
Bloodied Equipment and Weapons!
Blood slowly accumulates on armour and weapons as you continue to fight! Fresh blood will dry in the sun and eventually fade away but you can also take a dive in water to rinse it.
Persistent Wounds!
Focusing an enemy body part has a chance to inflict a wound that will continue to bleed. This is also purely
Reworked Splatter Behaviour!
The vanilla blood decals have been vastly diversified by scaling and randomizing them in controlled ways for a more natural look.
Performant design
Emitter budgets and spawn limits should help with performance.

Shout outs
Thanks to dhltkddir - while I originally asked to use some of his assets (which he allowed me, and I'm grateful for that) I ultimately didn't include any of them. I still thank him for his swift reply and the fact he'd allow a "competing" blood mod to use it. Great guy, much love~
