requested by gurvemeh on discord.

this is a beta, additional testing is required,
if you like my work consider donating to me on kofi: https://ko-fi.com/gfsggql everything helps!

Adds helmet-bound armor passives matching the associated armor set, for example if you equip a helmet attached to the democracy protects passive the helmet inherits the passive at a reduced rate visible in-ui at "25%" some passives seem to only work partially or not at all but some are quite difficult to test, this has been tested a good amount and i can assume most traditional passives work fine like running siege-ready light-armor with a true-grit helmet is pretty fun with the HMG or stationary reload guns, or equipping certain helmets for +1 stim or grenade (rather than the +2 you get on bodyarmor)

Another fun thing you can do is with armors that grant effect negation like the killzone or fire / gas themed gear you can really get a huge resist% not full immunity but its pretty fun and rewards you nicely for sticking to a certain playstyle more than the current body-armor only system does, least in my opinion.

do I put this first then armor transmog on top? because I had Transmog first then this and it didn't do anything.
transmog is included with this mod, delete your transmog that is separate.

bingus v16 was used for testing, downgrade if it does not work.

also armorperk stacking, shodans editor, among other armor-related mods do not work with this.

if it does anything to armor passives expect it to not be compatible at this moment in time, i wll use this comment to clear the air regarding compatible and non-compat mods if possible.

It works if you select a helmet before creating a variant. If you try to select a helmet when trying to setup the variant, it kinda doesn't do annything.

Tried it out and I love it, but there is a catch for me. Everything works on v18 for me except for one thing: Passives do not stack. When I wear inflammable heavy armor + inflammable helmet (and vitality booster), I lose the same amount of HP to a full immolation proc and post-burn as I take from just inflammable heavy armor (and vitality booster).

When wearing +2 stim armor and a +1 stim helmet, I only get 6 stims, not 7
When wearing +2 grenade armor and a +1 grenade helmet, I only get N+2 grenades (where N is the default count (3 for AT seek, for example)).

I'm still going to use this mod, but (at least on v18) the passives do not stack for funny haha builds
(if this is intentional, just tell me lol, but based on the way others were describing it, it seems like this is unintended and they *are* supposed to stack)

it is not intentional its a bug and at this moment in time im not sure i can fix it, v16 also does not solve these issues or any incompats to my knowledge BUT if you know of a fix seen elsewhere please let me know any incase i hope you enjoy the mod and i've recently setup a donation page so i hope you don't mind me plugging it here, donate if you think my work was worth it to you personally and if you're in a stable situation to clarify nothing i make will be paywalled i am not that kind of guy. https://ko-fi.com/gfsggql

simpler armor passives seem to work nicely though so if you can find utility out of those it should be pretty nice i have on higher diffs siege ready and the true grit helmets work nicely.

Sounds good to me. Thank you for the quick clarification. Love this mod and I hope you can one day find a workaround for helmet passive stacking
