As the title suggests, if you've ever played Armored Core 6, and know that *particular* mission involving a certain absurdly large railcannon..
..well, this is effectively the handheld version of that monster.
And if you don't know anything about that - well, think the orbital railcannon strike, but shoved into a support weapon.
It'll pierce through everything under the goddamned sun. And I mean everything. Excluding structures (such as gunship fabs and orbital cannon turrets as an example). It'll probably die in a single shot, unless it's absurdly tanky, such as the Hive Lord.
But for such power, there comes a downside. It's cooldown now matches that (or even exceeds) of the orbital railcannon strike. So, pick your targets carefully. It's all or nothing, as a certain wise man once said.
Now, admittedly, this weapon is a bit of a joke. So, don't expect it to be completely and truly balanced - only slightly: as in, the cooldown is the single thing keeping this thing from melting the goddamn pigeons. (As a matter of fact, this is probably insane as is - but, well, it's funny. I think. I hope. I don't know.)
CHANGES
CHANGE FORMAT: (BASE > MOD)
HEATSINK
Heat Per Shot (100 > 1000)
Heatsink Capacity (100 > 1001)
(This should make the LAS-99 have a cooldown of around 150 seconds, if the heat removed rate is 6.7. A bit longer or a bit shorter, depending on the climate of the planet.)
PROJECTILE
Armor Pen (6 > 30) (Applies to all angles - it's a bit obscene, but it's all mainly for that overpen, which'll let the projectile go through several different targets.)
Durable / Standard Damage (2,000 > 15,000)
Demo Force (30 > 40)
Dependencies
Bingus Mod Loader (Version 18 or higher)
HD2Runtime (Version 27.0 or higher)
!! NOTICE !!
DO NOT USE THIS MOD IN A PUBLIC MATCH! If we want to preserve the current modding scene as a whole - not using mods that effect public matches in any way is our best possible chance at that (and, may prevent you from being banned if Arrowhead decides to nuke anyone who used mods like these in public matches, in the future). And it is unknown if mods like these even work in public matches to begin with. Don't take your chances!
