MGX-42 Single Pod - 600 Rounds
This mod originally changed the MGX-42 Bullet Storm stratagem from two separate 300-round MGX-42s into a single MGX-42 carrying 600 rounds.
It has since been expanded with configurable weapon count and ammunition options.
Current configuration:
1 weapon:
300–600 rounds per weapon, adjustable in 50-round steps.
2 weapons:
Ammo is automatically locked to 300 rounds per weapon.
Selecting 2 weapons / 300 rounds restores the original MGX-42 Bullet Storm configuration.
Why?
The vanilla stratagem drops two MGX-42s, which works well when another Helldiver picks up the second weapon. However, during solo play or when nobody needs the second MGX-42, half of the ammunition supply is often left behind.
The original purpose of this mod was to consolidate the same 600-round total into a single weapon, helping prevent valuable Super Earth resources from being abandoned on the battlefield.
The newer configuration options allow players to choose between the original 2×300 setup and a single MGX-42 with a custom ammo capacity.
Features:
- Choose 1 or 2 MGX-42s per Hellpod.
- Single-weapon mode supports 300–600 rounds in 50-round steps.
- Two-weapon mode automatically locks ammo to 300 rounds per weapon.
- Select 2×300 to restore the vanilla configuration.
- Supports changing settings both on the ship and during an active mission.
- Press APPLY and the new configuration will affect subsequent Hellpod call-ins.
- Saved settings are restored after restarting the game.
- Chinese / English menu language options.
- Does not modify damage, fire rate, penetration, recoil, or other weapon performance.
Installation:
Install Bingus Shared Loader, HD2Runtime, and Mod Options Menu first.
Then install and deploy this mod using your preferred Helldivers 2 mod manager.
Without Mod Options Menu, the mod will use the default configuration of 1 weapon / 600 rounds.
Compatibility:
May conflict with other mods that modify the MGX-42 Bullet Storm weapon, ammunition capacity, or Hellpod payload.

现在已经扩展为可以自由调整空投武器数量与弹药数量的配置模组。

为什么做这个模组？
原版战备会一次空投两把 MGX-42。如果另一名绝地潜兵愿意拿走第二把，这种设计没有问题。
但在单人游玩，或者队友不需要第二把 MGX-42 时，另一把武器和其中的 300 发弹药往往会直接留在战场上。
本模组最初的目的，就是把原本总计 600 发的弹药集中到一把 MGX-42 上，避免宝贵的超级地球资源被遗弃在战场。
现在新增的配置功能，则允许玩家自由选择原版的「2×300」，或者使用单把 MGX-42 并自行调整弹容量。
功能：
- 可选择每个地狱舱空投 1 把或 2 把 MGX-42。
- 单枪模式支持 300–600 发，每档增加 50 发。
- 双枪模式会自动锁定为每把 300 发。
- 选择「2×300」即可恢复原版配置。
- 支持在飞船内及任务进行中修改配置。
- 按 APPLY 提交后，新配置会应用于之后的新空投。
- 已提交的配置会自动保存，并在重启游戏后继续使用。
- 支持中文 / English 菜单语言切换。
