Tired of drowning five seconds after stepping into a lake? This mod changes the Helldiver's drowning timer from 5 seconds to about 28 hours, so you can swim across lakes and rivers as long as you like and climb out on the other side.
**What it does**
* One change: the time a Helldiver can spend in deep water before drowning goes from 5 seconds to 100,000 seconds (about 28 hours).
* Only Helldivers: vehicles and enemies keep the game's own deep-water behaviour.
* Everything else about water stays the game's own (floating, swim speed, the slow-down). The "You are drowning" warning may still pop up; it is harmless now.
**Who needs it:** install it on your own PC. It is not confirmed yet whether the host's copy covers the whole squad, so for now everyone who wants it should install it. Friends without the mod can still join you.
**Compatibility:** needs Bingus Shared Loader. Works alongside Vanilla Plus, Shallow Water Diving included. Made for game version 1.8.46015; after a game update it changes nothing it does not recognise. No menu, always on.
**Install**
1. Install Bingus Shared Loader and a mod manager (HD2 Arsenal), both on Nexus Mods.
2. Add the zip to your mod manager, enable it, keep Bingus Shared Loader enabled, and deploy.
Nothing is saved to your account; uninstall by disabling it and deploying again. Feedback welcome!
