Full Auto Assist - Accessibility Autofire 1.3.0

A Mod for Helldivers 2
Full Auto Assist - Accessibility Autofire akl_mod_preview_image
Description
Full Auto Assist is an accessibility-focused Helldivers 2 mod that simulates automatic firing for 31 supported weapons by repeating normal Fire input while held. The game remains authoritative over shot acceptance and weapon behavior.

It does not alter damage, recoil, ammunition, projectiles, penetration, heat, aim, reload, or native weapon statistics. Unknown, unsupported, and native Full Auto weapons remain under normal game control.

What's New in v1.3.0
NEW: In-game per-weapon settings!

  • Configure every one of the 31 supported weapons through MODS > FULL AUTO ASSIST.
  • One global FAA toggle and one selector per weapon, grouped Primary, Secondary and Support.
  • Ordinary weapons: OFF/ON. Special-case weapons: OFF, Balanced and all existing profile/cadence choices.
  • All weapons default enabled; special cases default Balanced, including Eruptor at 28 RPM.
  • Contextual descriptions explain the available profiles. Applied settings persist across sessions.
  • The global = toggle, HUD, existing firing behavior and valid saved preferences are preserved.

Installation instructions
Recommended convenience route

Install Bingus Shared Mod Loader and CB Vanilla Plus Megapack. Enable the Megapack's Mod Options Menu and Mod Bindings Menu components.

Choose one route. Do not install duplicate bundled and standalone menu components. The whole Megapack is not mandatory. Current documented versions: Shared Loader v19 / API 1 (v18+ supported), Mod Options Menu v1.2 / API 1, and Mod Bindings Menu v2.2 / API 1.

Import Full-Auto-Assist-1.3.0-Arsenal.zip into Arsenal, enable FULL AUTO ASSIST 1.3.0 and its single Core option, and deploy exactly one FAA runtime. Preserve your existing INI and saved menu values; no settings reset is required. Keep Shared Loader as the winning Wwise startup replacement. Companion mods are not bundled in FAA's ZIP.

Configure in-game
1. Launch Helldivers 2 after installing FAA and the menu components.
2. Open the game's MODS settings tab.
3. Select FULL AUTO ASSIST.
4. Configure FAA Enabled and individual weapons, then press Apply.

Global OFF overrides all weapon selections without changing them. Individual OFF disables FAA only for that weapon. Use the MODS tab on the keyboard/controller bindings pages to configure the global toggle key with Mod Bindings Menu.

Startup and controls
Full Auto Assist starts ON by default. Press = (or + on some keyboard layouts) to toggle. Optional Mod Bindings Menu integration can provide a rebindable action using the same toggle path. ON/OFF state persists between missions. With Mod Options Menu, applied FAA Enabled values are saved across restarts and synchronized with the = toggle. Without the menu, startup follows your existing user_enabled configuration. Release Fire after enabling FAA or changing a profile before starting another assisted hold.

Manual INI editing is an advanced fallback; the in-game menu is the primary configuration interface. INI path: %LOCALAPPDATA%\CowboyBingus\Helldivers2\HD2FullAutoAssist.ini. If the mod unexpectedly starts OFF, check user_enabled=true. Do not copy a developer validation INI into the active configuration path.

Supported weapons
31 explicitly supported weapons: P-2 Peacemaker; M6C/SOCOM Pistol; P-69 Veto; P-113 Verdict; R-63 Diligence; R-63CS Diligence Counter Sniper; R-2 Amendment; LAS-58 Talon; APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle; R-2124 Constitution; R-6 Deadeye; R-4 Hyena; R-72 Censor; SG-8 Punisher; SG-8S Slugger; SG-20 Halt; SG-451 Cookout; M90A Shotgun; SG-225IE Breaker Incendiary; CB-9 Exploding Crossbow; R-36 Eruptor; SG-8P Punisher Plasma; R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle; JAR-5 Dominator; P-4 Senator; P-11 Stim Pistol; SG-22 Bushwhacker; P-35 Re-Educator; P/40-K Bolt Pistol; P-92 Warrant; MLS-4X Commando.

In-game and legacy profiles
RPM values control repeated Fire input cadence, not weapon statistics or guaranteed accepted shots. Applied/saved Mod Options Menu choices are authoritative. Legacy Arsenal option addons seed missing menu values ahead of explicit per-weapon INI settings, legacy INI mode and built-in defaults. Without the menu, the legacy Arsenal/INI/default path remains available. All existing profile meanings are retained:
  • Peacemaker: Balanced 380; Full Auto 900.
  • SOCOM: Balanced 380; Full Auto 900.
  • Veto: Balanced 380; Full Auto 750.
  • Talon: Balanced 210; Efficiency 60; Full Auto 380; FULLER AUTO 750.
  • AMR: Balanced 120; Full Auto 400.
  • Commando: Balanced 120 (default); Full Auto 240.
  • Hyena: Balanced 120; Full Auto 190.
  • Bushwhacker: Balanced 90; Full Auto 650.
  • Eruptor: 27 RPM Slower Cadence; 28 RPM Balanced/default; 32 RPM Maximum Full Auto.
FAA OFF preserves the Eruptor's native 32 RPM held-fire behavior. Other supported weapons use Balanced cadence capped at the lower of their native cap and 380 attempted inputs per minute. Amendment, Breaker Incendiary, and Dominator can chain their normal burst behavior while Fire is held. The game controls burst internals, fire-mode selection, and legal shot acceptance.

HUD indicator
The three-cartridge indicator appears only for FAA-supported weapons. It is white when a supported weapon is equipped and effective assistance is OFF, and yellow when both global FAA and that weapon are enabled. It hides for unsupported weapons. Its placement and presentation have been validated.

Requirements
Core FAA firing:
Bingus Shared Loader v18+ / API 1; v19 is current and recommended.
In-game weapon/profile configuration: Mod Options Menu v1.2 / API 1, either standalone or enabled in a compatible Vanilla Plus Megapack.
In-game keybind configuration: Mod Bindings Menu v2.2 / API 1, either standalone or enabled in a compatible Vanilla Plus Megapack.
The menu components are required for their respective in-game interfaces, not for core FAA firing. Existing fallback configuration still works without them. Vanilla Plus is an alternative convenience bundle, not an additional mandatory download. HD2ModCore and HD2Runtime are not required.

Compatibility and limitations
Supports Steam build 25480438 and uses an exact EXE/game.dll fingerprint gate. A future Helldivers 2 update may temporarily break compatibility. The supported roster is explicit, not dynamic. Attempted input cadence does not guarantee accepted shot rate. ARC-3 Arc Thrower, PLAS-101 Purifier, PLAS-15 Loyalist, PLAS-39 Accelerator Rifle, and 40-K Meltagun are intentionally unsupported. Charge automation is not included.

Gameplay validation
The author confirmed the v1.3.0 unified-menu candidate works in-game. This release only repackages metadata and documentation; its runtime is byte-identical to that tested candidate.
Live validation covered the HUD's supported ON/OFF and unsupported states, conventional weapons, Commando, and the Eruptor's 27/28/32 RPM options. FAA OFF preserves native Eruptor held-fire behavior. The 28 RPM default allows the weapon to settle properly.

Performance and reliability
Verified Candidate D gameplay measurements:
  • Peacemaker, 4 minutes: average 7.7 ms/s; worst minute 12.0 ms/s; worst frame 3 ms; stalls >=150 ms: 0.
  • Full mission, 12 minutes, AMR, Eruptor and Commando in Balanced mode: average 7.9 ms/s; worst minute 12.7 ms/s; worst frame 3 ms; stalls >=150 ms: 0.
These describe the measured sessions. FAA does not always stay below 10 ms/s and does not guarantee FPS improvements. Results vary by system, gameplay and mod setup. Profiling, validation logging, HUD diagnostics, and debug logging are off in the public example configuration.

Thank you so much for this. This mod really saves my old hands. The balanced profiles are really nice so the guns still feel organic and not overpowered while the faster profiles are good for some laughs.

Love the most recent update that expands the mods options. Thanks again, and hope you have a nice day.
