FULL DISCLAIMER: THE MODS YOU PUT IN NEED TO BE EAC FORMATTED, DON'T EXPECT PREVIOUS OCT 20TH MODS TO WORK, THEY WON'T.

I need modders to make current build mods and such to get a full scope of this utilities actual use, my own mods combine just fine into a full, deployable package.

RoComp — Package Composer combines Helldivers 2 mod packages into one ZIP for your mod manager. Add packages or folders, choose your options, review detected conflicts and declared requirements, then export.

Includes pack versions and comparison, portable projects, autosave, undo and four skins. Your mod manager handles deployment; compatibility is your choice.
  1. Choose the mods and options you want in your pack.
  2. Review the report for conflicts, missing requirements, unsupported packages and any detected overlaps with existing mods.
  3. Decide what to keep, adjust your selections and check the report again.
  4. Give your pack a name and version, then export it as a ZIP.
  5. Import the ZIP into your Helldivers 2 mod manager and deploy.

  6. Checking the file-mod installation

Find HD2FileMods.log in your main Helldivers 2 installation folder

    \steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\HD2FileMods.log
In Steam, right-click Helldivers 2 → Manage → Browse local files, then open the log with Notepad.

Success — the file was applied and becomes active on the next launch:

APPLIED Example pack 1.0.0 -> data/game/generated_entities.dl_bin - active from the next launch

Failure — the required file could not be read:

<span>[installer 1] ERR Example pack: cannot read data/game/generated_entities.dl_bin
Check the newest entries for every target listed in your pack’s README. Each should report APPLIED or OK … in place.

Mixed successes and errors can mean only part of the pack installed.

If I'm understanding this correctly; this program can successfully merge things like Shodan's editor and Stratagem Pairs to act as a pseudo-mod loader, allowing multiple mods to live at runtime in harmony?

Is this a temporary solution until someone gets a new mod loader working?

Or is this just a convenient way to zip up a modpack into a single package while detecting incompatibilities?

This is absolute crash-course derby stuff that I'm attempting (with success) to find a way to combine new EAC mods into a package that you can enable in one go to run them all. presently from testing it became quickly apparent you couldn't do that with individual mods stacking together, so I made this thing. don't get me wrong, it's purely experimental and I need feedback, but. Trying.

****4 of my mods combined through this and ran, EAC format, via HD2Arsenal. 2 wep mods, Hellsliders, & Fire/fall control (both static builds).

Huh, that's super interesting actually. Thanks for providing this tool to us.

Until a way pops up to utilise HD2Arsenal/mod manager directly appears, this is a workaround, it's as tool-ish as it gets, but it gets the job done.

make a mod pack blob, chuck it in your mod manager, dump the mod code into the game, exit. and your mods should be live next boot.

the point of this is because you could only write individual mods into the game from my immediate experience today after looking into Medic3038's strategem bouncing fix mod, and I instantly said nah, I want all my mods to work.
