Install and combine settings-file mods in one click. Works after the EAC update.
Since the October 20 update, gameplay mods (vaulting, water, movement, stratagems...) change the game's settings files. Each of those mods brings its own installer, and two mods that change the same file can't both be active: whichever runs last wins, or one refuses to install.
This app fixes that. It reads the mods, merges their changes into one file per game file, and writes them straight into the game. No loader, no launch-and-quit, no mod manager needed for these mods. One click undoes everything.
How to use
If one of these mods is also ticked in your mod manager, untick it there and deploy - the app warns you about it.

Conflicts
When two mods set the same value, the app shows a CONFLICT line and the mod higher in the list wins - you pick by changing the order. Example: Consistent Vaulting raises the slide angles (you slide less), HELLSLIDERS lowers them (you slide more). Put the one you want on top; everything else from both mods still applies.
After a game update
Updates replace the game files, so file mods stop working - nothing breaks, the game is just stock. Open the app: mods made for the old version show NEEDS NEW VERSION. Add the updated versions and press Apply.

How to use
- Quit the game. Start Medic-File-Mod-Merger.exe (no install needed). It finds your game folder by itself.
- Drag mod zips or unzipped mod folders onto the window.
- Order matters: when two mods change the same value, the one higher in the list wins (^ and v buttons). Mods with options get a drop-down.
- Press APPLY CHANGES. Start the game. Done.
If one of these mods is also ticked in your mod manager, untick it there and deploy - the app warns you about it.
Mods it can read
- Mods built on the HD2 file-mod installer: Stratagem Balls Stay Put, Consistent Vaulting, Shallow Water Diving, Jump Pack Recharge, Slidedivers / HELLSLIDERS, RoComp packages...
- Alice's Enhanced Stratagem Collection (all 15 combos, with the English names next to the Chinese ones)
- Packs that keep several game files in one .stream with toggles (the toggles become a drop-down)
- Mods that ship plain generated_*.dl_bin files (one variant per folder)
- Lua mods, models, sounds, Treasure Radar, Objective Tracker... - they don't change settings files, keep them in your mod manager. The app tells you.
- A mod that changes a file's length (Jump Pack Recharge) can't be mixed with other mods that change the same file. It is installed as it is, and the app tells you which mod was left out.
- Programs that edit the game files themselves, like SHODAN or the Stratagem Extra Pairs configurator. Use them after this app. To change mods here later: press Restore in that program, Apply here, then Install in that program again.

Safety
- Never writes over a game file it can't identify, and never puts an old stock file back over a newer one.
- Keeps its stock backups and a log in <game folder>\MedicFileModMerger. Steam > Verify integrity of game files always gets you back to stock too.
- Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" the first time - the exe isn't code-signed. More info > Run anyway.
- Tested in game with mods from three different authors installed at once (Medic3038, Alice, HELLSLIDERS).
