Combined Community Mods (All-in-One) v3

A Mod for Helldivers 2
Combined Community Mods (All-in-One) akl_mod_preview_image
A merge of some of the best community mods! I decided to merge these together as independently they were all editing each others files and it was causing issues.

This is a stand-alone mod. It edits the game files directly.

I didn't create most of these. All credit to the mod creators:

Shodan - Shodan
Armory Forge - hung1510
Stratagem Bounce Fix / Arc Thrower Auto Attack - CowboyBingus
Consistent Vaulting - Medic3038

Huge thank you to all modders I've contacted that agreed to be included I think I got you all (if not please let me know and I'll take it down)

Download thismod
Extract anywhere (not in game files)
Click "Combined Community Mods.exe"
Make sure the game is closed down
Edit whatever you want
Install to game
Open the game
Enjoy

Hellpod Steering and Drop fix was my workaround as the old method is dead. The default settings should feel similar to CowboyBingus' original fix, however it relies on a different method so it may feel a bit wonky. There are some adjustable settings in there I left in testing, including the comedic "Long" drop... Have fun dropping from outside the planet and waiting 30 seconds to land 😂

I tried my best to get other QoL fixes a workaround but I wasn't able to. If anyone manages to scrap together a working standalone fix for the other QoL mods using the same method here of editing game files, and wants to be included - drop me a DM.

Please no DMs requesting their favourite mod to be included 🙏 there's a 99% chance it won't work.

Virus total flagged this for malware, (1 out of 68).
Not sure why people keeping commenting this. An .exe being flagged as a Trojan is normal, it doesn't automatically mean it's malware. Antivirus software uses heuristics to detect suspicious behaviour, and modding tools often trigger them because they inject DLLs, modify memory or lack digital signatures. These are false positives. A detection is not definitive proof of a virus.

On the same note - those asking if this can get them banned. The answer is no. Arrowhead have publicly announced they don't even have the ability to ban anyone, even if they wanted to.

Oh crap, they were already in the build but I hid the Armor tab of Shodan as I thought it was a redundancy given Forge lets you edit armor.

I've just uploaded a new version that includes the Helldiver specific tweaks.
you are legit the 3rd jesus coming after bingus

I haven't done a huge amount of work. All credit goes to the original modders I literally just merged them together. The only thing I made was the hellpod stuff and it's pretty janky

About armor forge, if the armor stats has been tweaked, would it also apply to other players who using the same armor in multiplayer? (´・ω・`)?
If that's the case, would this mod be able to apply in this?

Yes to the first question and no to the second. The mod you've shared is quite clever in how it works. Rather than modifying a passive shared by multiple Helldivers it:
  1. Checks which armor passives everyone in the squad is wearing.
  2. Finds an unused passive.
  3. Copies your original passive into that unused record.
  4. Temporarily assigns the copied passive to your character.
  5. Changes the assigned passive again if another player starts wearing it.
However, it accomplishes this by reading and writing the game's memory while it's running, which is (currently) no longer possible.
