A new custom stratagem that calls in the A/FLAM-40 Flame Sentry, but loaded with the TX-41 Sterilizer’s corrosive gas instead of fire.
The sentry sprays a dense gas cloud that deals 15 damage per hit plus gas damage over 10 seconds, for about 100 DPS. Targets caught in it are confused for 9 seconds, slowed, and have their armour stripped down one level while they’re being sprayed.
The vanilla A/FLAM-40 Flame Sentry is not changed. This is a separate stratagem you pick from HD2Runtime’s custom stratagem panel on the loadout screen.
Note: if a vanilla Flame Sentry is out at the same time as a Gas Sentry, the mod switches the spray between their bursts so each one fires its own. If both start firing at the exact same moment, one of them may spray the other’s effect for that burst. If possible just take one at a time for sake of simplicity
