Hard to say New version 0.40.0 dosnt work for me game crash on start (mouse scroll wheel hook on or off dosnt matter game wont launch ) HD2Runtime-0.31.3-runtime works without problems

Everything works fine for me on the latest version. The mod is free—why complain and give it a low rating? The author doesn't owe anyone anything. I've seen too many authors who've deleted their mods because they couldn't stand the complaints.

Could it possibly cause other players' games to crash? Because when I host the game, other players join my room, and after a while the game tends to crash or freeze.

The mod is hefty on performance. This is the version before the update today. i would use the version that just got updated but that one doesnt work

can you send me a log file, also try a new profile for the new version. might be old data that interferes

New runtime update is crashing me and my friends pc on startup, we don't know why and tried a older version and it works

Me and my friends games suspend on start up, with the newest version (40.0).

Can't edit my previous review so leaving a fresh 5 star rating for the updated release . Thanks a lot and apologies. It just felt like there was nowhere to escpae Arrowhead monkeypaw experience with everywhere on reddit and nexusmods all having the anti fun choices. I get that its to prevent crashes but yeah, now that everyone knows about the risk, hopefully people will make the choice to not take some mods in if they see others crashing out.

thanks. and yeah a disclaimer so people know the risk and letting them make the decision is infinitely better than trying to control how people play with mods. its not my responsibility either

Alright, so if you wanna put some limitations, i would be okay with something like this:
Restricting me to host only (public), and not join public lobbies, and perhaps have us wear a "[MODDED]" tag next to our names, that way people can decide to join or not.
Or / And perhaps have your mod write a few lines in chat each time a rando joins, explaining it's a modded lobby, something like that.

No idea if it's technically doable, but still, thanks for the revert.

i will think about it. but for now i think im just gonna sit back and talk with people a lot about what the best approach might be. could be a month or so before i do anything about matchmaking with mods if i ever do anything about it.

i don't want to make a sudden disruptive decision like this again.

是否可以设置成使用前置时不会影响匹配，而使用了API会禁止匹配呢，毕竟前置本身并没有修改数值的能力，真正会对游戏数值进行改动的是API那边
