Can't edit my previous review so leaving a fresh 5 star rating for the updated release . Thanks a lot and apologies. It just felt like there was nowhere to escpae Arrowhead monkeypaw experience with everywhere on reddit and nexusmods all having the anti fun choices. I get that its to prevent crashes but yeah, now that everyone knows about the risk, hopefully people will make the choice to not take some mods in if they see others crashing out.

thanks. and yeah a disclaimer so people know the risk and letting them make the decision is infinitely better than trying to control how people play with mods. its not my responsibility either

Alright, so if you wanna put some limitations, i would be okay with something like this:
Restricting me to host only (public), and not join public lobbies, and perhaps have us wear a "[MODDED]" tag next to our names, that way people can decide to join or not.
Or / And perhaps have your mod write a few lines in chat each time a rando joins, explaining it's a modded lobby, something like that.

No idea if it's technically doable, but still, thanks for the revert.

i will think about it. but for now i think im just gonna sit back and talk with people a lot about what the best approach might be. could be a month or so before i do anything about matchmaking with mods if i ever do anything about it.

i don't want to make a sudden disruptive decision like this again.

是否可以设置成使用前置时不会影响匹配，而使用了API会禁止匹配呢，毕竟前置本身并没有修改数值的能力，真正会对游戏数值进行改动的是API那边

This is a really good mod. The only downside was the negative reviews caused by the public multiplayer ban suddenly added in version 0.30.0. Fortunately, the developer listens to the players, and version 0.30.1 lifted the restriction.

Mods work perfectly with previous versions but bro decides he wants to block multiplayer gameplay for a few random reports of crashing.

Obviously ideologically motivated with his self reported "I don't support public matchmaking as its bordering the line between a cheat tool and a mod"

Massive L moment. Just go back to nexus mods then with all the other lame ah mods then?

alright im shipping a 0.30.1 patch that removes the lock. here be dragons. i didnt expect this much negative backlash from it but oh well

The choice should be up to the players, not the mod authors forcing a ban on matching.How is this any different from those moderators on Nexusmods?

Welp, guess you caved in to the witch hunting hysteria ? I used to just place a [MODDED] tag in my name and host only, never join, but i can't even do that anymore because i guess you know better.

all of my mods are dependent on hers, super fucking nice lady, community leader and is on the forefront of modding innovation, without her and Bingus, 95% of mods would not be possible. must have mod

Good mod to help with others. As of today, its slowing my games FPS down very much to the point I'm getting below 15fps. I'm not sure why but it would be nice to have that fixed.
