HELLSLIDERS
For when spreading democracy on foot starts to feel unnecessarily upright.



This edition locks HELLSLIDERS to its original Tribes preset. It gives you more carry across flat ground, a stronger downhill slide and shorter uphill movement. There’s no settings menu—Tribes is the fixed configuration.



What changes?
Flat ground: 4× slide duration and 1.7× slide speed.

Uphill: 1.75× slide duration and 1.15× slide speed.

Downhill: 5.2× slide duration and 2.2× slide speed.

Slide stamina cost: reduced to 35% of normal.

Steep slopes: faster automatic sliding, stronger downhill pull and quicker entry.

Dirt buildup while sliding: reduced to 75% of normal.

These are changes to the game’s settings. Terrain, collisions and normal movement interruptions can still end a slide.





Installation
Import the ZIP into HD2 Arsenal or HD2 Mod Manager. Enable Slidedivers - Tribes and Uninstall helper, deploy, then launch to the main menu and exit normally.

A lighter implementation
This file-based edition removes the original mod’s repeated Lua polling and avatar-memory checks. The game uses the modified movement settings directly.
