Requires Bingus Shared Loader v19+ and HD2Runtime v31+

Behold the Tri-Trident. Fires 3x as many beams with 3x heat generation, 3x the fun, and some other "rebalance" changes to make it feel more like the infinite ammo laser shotgun it should be. After trying the focus lens on the Sai, I see the potential for weapon customization in this game that AH isn't providing. The Trident is cool in its own way but I felt it was lacking the punchy shotgun feeling. Thankfully HD2 Runtime ModBuilder and other programs let us experiment.

Changes + Reasoning
Beams per pulse2 > 6times 3 barrels, so 18 pellets
RPM300 > 100
Heat per shot 10 > 30allows 5 shots before reloading with trigger held
Cooling rate15 > 20lacks vanilla heatsink options, gave it increased cooling with ergo penalty
Armor penetrationLight > Mediumother shotguns and laser weapons both have AP3 options, fuck it
Standard damage60 > 45to compensate for increased AP, and so 18 pellets isn't insane DPS
Durable damage6 >12makes it slightly less crap at this but it's still a laser weapon
Ergonomics65 > 50focus lens + fast heatsink
Horizontal spread 200 > 300potentially a downside, however with so many pellets...
Vertical spread50 > 75...actually provides better coverage of hordes at longer ranges
Drift horizontal recoil2 > 25drift = gun movement
Drift vertical recoil2 > 60
Climb horizontal recoil1 > 15climb = camera movement
Climb vertical recoil2 > 50

I will give this one a run because as you said : YES ! This is what Arrowhead have been sleeping on for YEARS by now... energy based customization can allow far more fantasy than regular ballistic weaponry. There is so much potential that can be explored, through different pieces, batteries, an such... However, my question is : is this actually an additional lens to graft on top of the weapon ? Or is this a complete overall that change the weapon, by default, to the core ?

. . . Hell thinking about it, I don't think anyone went for thazt path yet : would it be possible, at this time for modders, to add extra customization parts to our weapons and give them more options ? Muzzles, grips, magazines, ect... We got some break through by adding ammunition types, and creating new, independent stratagems... can such a thing be possible for our primary / secondary guns, and add more independent pieces ?

Right now it's a simple stat change to overhaul the weapon, I'm not technically inclined enough to implement this as a real Focus Lens in game. I know a few modders have messed around with the ingame weapon customization and attachments, right now the tools for it aren't ideal. I imagine if/when HDSE releases it will be a lot easier to do it right.
