M-1000 Maxigun — No Movement Lock v2.1

A Mod for Helldivers 2
M-1000 Maxigun — No Movement Lock akl_mod_preview_image
UNRESTRICTED MAXIGUN

The M-1000 Maxigun roots you to the ground the moment you start firing. Great gun,
terrible idea when a Charger is closing in and your legs stop answering.

This mod removes that lock. The Maxigun now behaves like a regular support weapon —
you walk, you turn, you reposition while shooting, exactly like the standard MG-43
Machine Gun. That's it.

WHAT IT DOES
- Removes the movement lock while firing the M-1000 Maxigun
- Handling now matches a standard support weapon
- No changes to damage, ammo, recoil or spread
- Does not affect any other weapon

REQUIREMENTS
- Bingus Shared Loader (required — this mod will not work without it)

INSTALLATION (HD2 Arsenal)
1. Install Bingus Shared Loader and place it FIRST in your load order
2. Install this mod and place it AFTER Bingus
3. Launch the game

Load order matters. If Bingus loads after this mod, nothing will happen.

v2.1: better compatibility, it no longer overwrites other mods' hooks.

I tested it with two mods:
- Gore OFF v1.3: doesn't work, because its Bingus v14 is rigid and only loads a fixed list of mods. It works fine with Bingus v15.
- Orbital Laser Free: it writes logs but doesn't perform its function, and the Maxigun stops working along the way.

If you use the laser, it's worth letting its author know: the scan picks up copies of its own data in memory, counts the laser multiple times, and aborts itself with "duplicate record". It also raises RAM usage while scanning.

PS: I might take a while to upload this to Nexus since I have some programming work to get through. Sorry for the trouble, have a great day and a happy Warbond!

This mod does not work, I 100% sure.... I manage to get the hover pack mod work, but this one doesn't. I triple check to make sure Bingus Shared Loader mod is load first and priority and still not work, no clue what the problem.
Update Bingus Shared loader to v15, it 100% does work

there's a conflict with other mod, possibly orbital laser one

Yeah so far on my testing, it conflicts with BOTH unli orbital laser and double leveller mod, BUT if you disable this mod. Then orb laser and double leveller work in tandem.

Good on the author trying to make it work, kudos! Hope it goes well!
