Media Kit 1.1.3 - your videos now have sound

  • Your videos now have sound. The game's own audio is added to the video when it is saved. Only Helldivers 2 is recorded - not Discord, music or other programs.
  • Optional: mix your microphone into the video (off by default).
  • New switches in Mod Options Menu (MODS > MEDIA KIT): Enabled, Game audio, Microphone. Settings file: audio=1, mic=0.
  • If adding the sound fails, the video is kept as it is and the sound is saved as a .wav next to it.
The audio engine was written by cSwibs (from their "Media Kit Audio" add-on) and is included with their permission. Thank you!
If you use cSwibs' separate Media Kit Audio add-on you can remove it, or keep it - Media Kit then leaves the sound to it.

Known issue: in longer recordings the sound can end up a little behind the picture (up to a second or two over a round with many start/stops). A fix is being tested.
