These updates focus primarily on performance, command responsiveness, formations, and coordinated fire. Here's a consolidated overview of all changes:
Performance Improvements
Reduced redundant memory reads, background checks, and log writes.
Lowered maintenance overhead when the game state is stable and stopped unnecessary checks after leaving a mission.
Optimized HUD polling and drag detection.
Improved the priority of processing new commands and restoring previous orders after recalling SEAF troops.
Customizable Keybindings
You can now rebind keys for Squad Recall, Command Mode, HUD Details, First Aid, and Page Navigation through the in-game menu.
To rebind a key, select the desired function and click Apply. When prompted with "Press the key you want to bind," simply press your preferred key.
Fixed issues with disappearing menus, missing keybinding prompts, and navigation keys being accidentally registered.
Existing settings are preserved.
Global Command Improvements
Fixed an issue where commands issued through the communication wheel incorrectly depended on the voice queue.
Improved shared squad command scheduling, reducing cases where certain soldiers would take too long to receive orders.
Spread Formation
Follow Mode: Soldiers select positions within approximately a 20-meter radius around the player, aiming for roughly 5 meters of spacing between troops.
Hold Position: Soldiers select positions within approximately a 50-meter radius around their assigned hold point, aiming for roughly 8 meters of spacing.
Improved crowding, excessive repositioning, and situations where blocked inner positions prevented troops from spreading outward.
Spacing will automatically tighten when terrain or available space is limited.
Improved Fire Resumption
Soldiers can now resume firing as soon as a single clear line-of-fire check succeeds.
Soldiers who have stopped firing are prioritized for rechecking.
Narrowed overly aggressive obstruction checks near weapon muzzles, reducing unnecessary ceasefires caused by nearby teammates standing off to the side.
Adjustable Engagement Range & Target Sharing
Engagement range can now be adjusted from 20 to 150 meters through the in-game menu, with 100 meters as the default.
While following the player, SEAF troops can now share enemy targets detected by other squad members.
Fixed incorrect target candidate counts and cases where invalid recipients could interrupt target sharing.
Medics are properly excluded from target sharing, and soldiers will retain their existing valid enemy targets.
Q-Marker Focus Fire Fixes
Marked targets now affect attack priority only.
Marking an enemy no longer pulls the squad's follow positions toward that enemy.
Fixed an issue where repeated target checks would continuously reset movement timers for the entire squad.
SEAF Stat Settings Fixes
Fixed an issue where several settings appeared to save correctly but were not actually applied in-game, including:
Damage
Durable damage
Rate of fire
Armor penetration bonuses
Hitstun removal
Improved configuration detection and restoration after game resources are reloaded.
