What this Mod do？

Allow you to switch seat between gunner and driver as fast as you can.

This mod
2.1 Update: Press Z to switch between driver and gunner (”Z press “in multiplayer room will work now if you are the host and the tank is yours to call down）

Both for Bastion TD-220 and TD-110 tank .
Machine gun FRV will work too (but only let you get in car if you are Machine gun FRV's gunner . Unable to ge out and reach machine gun . Machine gun FRV is in progress)
Work in multiplayers environment if you are the host


HOW TO USE：

  • Pressing Z now will get you switched between driver and gunner
  • Everyone is welcome to test it. Feedback is appreciated!
  • If you want old function back. get to AppData\Local\Hd2TankSeatRoles\tank_seat_roles.cfg and make swap=1(quite old)
  • Any other player in tank should make this mod Temporarily disabled; it will work again once they all get out of the tank.（You don't really need this mod when you have teamate in）
  • IF multiplayer'room don't work. Try deleting AppData\Local\Hd2TankSeatSwitch\tank_seat_switch.cfg. it will recreate a new one

Bingus Shared Loader - v16
Modmanager or HD2Arsenal （better with HD2Arsenal）

just asking, is one man frv possible? like turret to driver seat and vice versa

Whats your plan on making it enter/switch via C command? I've tried to do it this past few weeks only to lead it crashing due to trying to use high binary (even with a bypasser active). Since there's no animation/transition on driver > gunner, it's not possible unless there's loopholes that you have in mind (like this project). Btw I've even tried creating a transition to driver to gunner frame by frame. Until to the point my character glitched/ejected out of driver not letting me back to the tank. And I just gave up and close the project entirely.

At one point you're going to hit
G0=0, G1=0, G2=0 for driver
G0=2, G1=2, G2=2 for gunner

Though I think the chances of making one that can switch between gunner to driver is around 35% 🫠

My character glitched/ejected out too. It's really hard. I'm exhausted and don't want to do it anymore. I haven't really been enjoying the game lately.

"this actually does nothing" ok it doesn't work on new tank yet.... but it works on Bastion

it would be nice if you could pick which function you would like to enable, and hopefully switching while inside the tank would work well in multiplayer

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Hd2TankSeatRoles\tank_seat_roles.cfg — swap=1. change 1→0 will make seat entry be normal. Don't need to restart game. Save and 5sc after. It will work

Well intentional or not the press Z to change seats feature works with the maelstrom, so I'm happy with that.
