This edition contains NO English game scripts, tables, images, movies, or other
localization payload. It creates the patch locally from a separately installed,
'legitimate' English copy of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter.
REQUIREMENTS
- An installed English version containing:
pac\steam\script_en.pac
pac\steam\table_en.pac
pac\steam\image_en.pac
pac\steam\movie_en.pac
- An installed Asian Steam version of Sora no Kiseki the 1st.
- Enough temporary disk space to extract approximately 530 MB.
- This will still work on a repacked version of the game
USAGE
1. Exit both games.
2. Run "Sora1-English-Patcher-Source-Extractor-v2.0.0.exe".
3. Select the English installation as the source.
4. Select Sora no Kiseki the 1st as the destination.
5. Select the Asian locale currently active in the destination.
6. Click "Extract & Install / Repair".
The patcher validates all source PACs as FPAC archives, extracts them to a random
temporary directory, hashes every extracted file, maps the English locale to the
selected Asian locale, installs the loose files, verifies them, then deletes the
temporary extraction. Official PAC archives and executables are not modified.
RECOVERY
Backups and installation state are stored under:
<Asian game>\.sora1_english_patch\
Repair operations preserve the original first-install backups. Uninstall removes
files created by the patch and restores anything that existed beforehand.
The executable is an unsigned Microsoft IExpress self-extracting wrapper. Windows
may display a standard unknown-publisher warning. The reproducible wrapper build
script and launcher are included under "source" for inspection.
The included xinput1_4.dll is the Sora1 loose-file loader by Hinki/Hinkii and is
redistributed under the author's published reuse permissions. It contains no
English game localization content.
