@African , I saw in your GRIS thread, you said that the best way to verify nsp files is with NStool/XCIexplorer.
I have 3 files of Dead Cells -
1)Base game nsp
2)Update nsp
3)DLC nsp
The base game and update nsp load perfectly -

But, the DLC nsp does not load correctly -

The same thing happens with Zelda Botw, the basegame and update nsp load fine, BUT the dlc nsp loads incorrectly like above. So my question is - Do all game's DLC nsp load like this in XCIexplorer? or only my dlc files are corrupted? Please help.

XCI Explorer cannot read information from Dlcs (they don't have XML)
and for checking NSPs with XCI Explorer is not always useful some NSP look legit and the only way to check them is to extract the whole NSP and check NCA content
List of malicious NSPs:
Pokémon : Let's Go, Pikachu
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe
Yoshi
Super Mario Maker 2

@shapnil I had a similar problem with BoTW. I fixed it by installing things in order, this is true for all games including dead cells.
1) First install the base game ( run the game and see if it works, then quit the game )
2) install the updates ( the latest is V1.2.1........if you have a lower update V1.2.0 V1.1.1 V1.1.0 then that might be your problem)
3) install the DLCs Last now they should be able to work,

link 1 https://www19.zippyshare.com/v/IIwg0Gvo/file.html ( this is the latests update V1.2.1)
link 2 https://ayakalounge.me/threads/dead-cells-rise-of-the-giant-dlc-update-1-2-1.10012/ (this is the DLC)
Both of them uploaded by @African they are legit and working

to answer the question about dead cells , make sure you are installing the latest update ( i had an issue when i was using an older update of a game and i was trying to install a DLC, simply look for the lastest update install it, then install the DLCs last and works like a champ)

To answer your question about BoTW did you by any chance downloaded one of these ? The.Legend.of.Zelda.Breath.of.the.Wild.v001
and The.Legend.of.Zelda.Breath.of.the.Wild.v002
I downloaded The.Legend.of.Zelda.Breath.of.the.Wild.v002 then I intalled the latest update then the first DLC and last the second DLC and it works.

Dot NOT interchange files from other sites, there is an extensive library here, and if you cant find it send a request.

@dorianx12 , Hello, I have a question. Did you install the latest v1.6 update for BotW ? which firmware version are you on ? I'm using cfw 6.2.0 and the 1.6 update is not working. Someone told me that the 1.6 update uses SDK 7.3.2 which is too high for fw 6.2.0. So i was wondering, since it's working for you, which fw did you install the update on ? Do i have to upgrade to fw 7.0.1 for it to work?

Yes Update 1.6 is SdkAddon Ver.: v117637632 (7.3.2) (FW 8.0) it's can only be patched for firmware 7.x

I am currently on version 7.0.1 CFW since newer games require it,
In my personal experience what I do is to stay at the lowest possible firmware. @African does a great job at making higher FW games work on lower FWs example 7xx work on 6xx CFW .

While I preached 6.2.0 CFW for its stability and support i really have to say that 7.0.1 has reached that level.

In my opinion is the best as of now. since 7.0.1CFW has reached the middle ground. 7.0.1 will run older games obviously but it will also run 8.0.0 games.
