Maximum Page Width - Before vs After

We have changed the page width design for the site, and we would like to hear your feedback before the change!

What Changed?​

We adjusted the maximum page width of the site to utilize screen space on modern displays better. Take a look at the comparison below:


Before: Narrower, more centered layout with more side margins




After: Wider layout that uses more horizontal screen space, more like NexusMods page width

I'm genuienly torn here. I think the wider layout is more pleasing to the eye, but the narrower layout looks more efficient.

I think an option in between the two would actually be best. A bit wider than the Before but not as wide as the After. That's just my opinion.

Also, I personally don't see any difference in the Screenshots showing the Featured Mods section. They look the same to me in terms of the layout. Am I overlooking something?

To having two options like a width toggle button? This is also possible to allow people to choose one, shall we do that?

Allowing people to toggle the width is an even better idea.

I think you should include a Width Toggle as an option on the poll.
