It seems there's a few people buying these now and they can play/mount xci files just fine. Some reveiwers are claiming that they can't play converted xci - most likely because the tools they are using to convert doesn't include the tik file and the nca files remain decrypted. Anyway for those that wish to try a converted nsp that have a mig switch card. Here's an nsp that was dumped to make it ticketless, the game was then converted to xci and for me it mounts and plays fine on sxos on the switch with 11.0 firmware. It should work on a mig switch as well but I don't have one to try. It's a small game of less than 60mb for anyone that wishes to try it.

Game: Zhed

PS - Don't play online with it if your switch is not banned, only use your legit dumped original game cards for that.

You have one? I was curious since it reminds me of early 3DS days when I had the cart I forgot the game to play games on the microSD in the top slot and later got LUMA installed on the SD so I could effectively double my space without buying a bigger card. My vita is the same way, I have a 4GB internal for the OS and PSP stuff and I use the top game slot for games etc. I assume this MIG works with Atmosphere?

I don't have one, as far as I know only review copies for youtubers and shop sellers have them. They should be out soon though and then people can start expermimenting with them. If you have a modded switch already or a swich that can run hekate/atmospherenx etc there's no need to buy one as your switch will be far superior to these cards. These are really only for people that don't want to mod their switches are run cfw on them. Also it's unclear yet if custom xci's can be run with updates dlc etc. I guess we will all find out in the next few weeks.

Just tried it on my MIG. It does not seem to load. Interestingly it doesn't give a game card read error like a trimmed XCI would do. The MIG just never cycles too your repacked game. I even tried including the other 2 bin files from a personal game of mine but that did not seem to change anything

Would a dumped eShop > cartridge game help at all with figuring this out @mrdude ? I have a physical copies of Castle Crashers Remastered and Rain on your Parade(which seems to actually have an update that the eShop doesn't have) I could share with you. AFAIK these are eShop only games outside the limited run releases

I don't have a mig switch and won't be buying one unless a cheaper clone comes out. My switch is a v1 and is chipped so there's no need for me to buy one tbh. I would imagine that many people are looking into it though and it will just be a matter of time until this mig swich code is dumped and reversed. Probably if you have a switch the best way if to just hack it to play homebrew/nsp/xci and you'll have far more choices than just using a mig switch.
