I have a dongle on order I'm wanting to know what's the best custom firmware to use and is there a way to stay safe and not get my switch banned I'm not bothered if it happens it happens it happens I'm sick of paying over the odds for games and the online on the switch is really bad anyway

I keep atmosphere by default on my dongle. (my cellphone)
best custom firmware at this point in time is 7.0.1
if you go online you will get banned no matter what. the only safe way is no never connect to the internet if you have a hacked switch
online gaming is not good in my opinion not worth it. my switch has never been connected to wifi.

Yeah I'm in the same opinion really I've tried a few games online and switch and they just don't seem to cut it one question though if I do hack my switch which and never go online if I do come to sell it way down the line and I do a factory reset will it be ok then

If you hack your switch the very first thing you ever do is Back Up your NAND.
Backing up your NAND will help you restore your switch to virgin state. and it will be ok then to sell it to play online and stuff

I keep it on a storage hard drive on my computer. but yes keep it where ever is safe
thank you for your help mate i just need wait my dongle and jig now.
oh one more thing how do i go about updating the switches firmware can i download a firmware update and put it on the sd card?
