Regarding the game interface, I believe the default sorting should be based on mod count—games with the most mods should appear at the top. As for the mod browsing interface itself, it would be best to sort by download count. Overall, I think multiple sorting options should be provided to make it easier for users to browse and discover the mods they enjoy.
