Goal
Sustained fire with distinct roles for mobile suppression, heavy sustained damage and ammunition-hungry specialist guns.
Version 9.5 — installation and scope
Install with the Helldivers 2 Mod Manager, then enable the individual equipment options you want. Restart after changing selections. Requires HD2Runtime 0.40.0, Bingus Mod Loader 18 or later, and the VanillaPlus baseline used by the main 9.5 release. Wait for patches to settle and spawn fresh equipment.
Use the main Arsenal Accord mod OR the standalone packs; do not install both. The standalone packs can be combined with one another. Each item has one owner pack; shared native bullet/damage records are the exception described below.
Arsenal Accord - Progress is an optional separate loading display that combines the installed packs into one bar. There is no embedded progress bar, chat announcement or kicking system in this balance pack.
Shared native records
Identical shared edits are included where needed and applied once across the standalone packs. This is not full native-record isolation: other equipment using the same bullet, damage or status record can inherit those fields even without its own pack installed.
Known shared consumers:
• A/G-16 Gatling Sentry / A/MG-43 Machine Gun Sentry / EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit / MG-43 Machine Gun
Liberator and Stalwart also share native ammunition relationships; category selection does not clone every underlying record.
M-1000 Maxigun
Why the change?
Walking fire and selectable output make the weapon-and-backpack commitment worthwhile. Stronger push helps keep fallen enemies from blocking the firing lane, supporting continuous crowd clearing. A full resupply replenishes the existing 1,000-round backpack rather than enlarging it. Original recoil is retained. Keep the lane open and the barrels turning.
Video reference — GRASS: Buffed Maxigun
Weapon menu, left → right: 3000 / 2250 / 1500 RPM, fastest to slowest. The native middle/default slot is 2250 RPM. Original recoil is retained; negative recoil is no longer requested. Backpack capacity remains 1000 rounds.
Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1
Backpack ammunition per supply pickup: 500 → 1000
Durable damage: 18 → 20
Left weapon menu selector: None → Rate of fire
Must remain stationary while firing: Yes → No
Push force: 12 → 25
Selectable fire rates in RPM: 1500 / 1500 / 1500 → 3000 / 2250 / 1500
Stagger force: 15 → 20
MGX-42 Bullet Storm
Why the change?
GRASS’s 312-round capacity divides evenly across 24 barrels, giving thirteen complete volleys. Bullet Storm is the larger counterpart to the VG-70 Variable, so it receives the same Volley and Total firing choices. The 90-second cooldown follows GRASS’s proposal; the selectable modes are the Accord addition.
Armor penetration at extreme angle: 0 → 1
Base cooldown in seconds: 70 → 90
Left weapon menu selector: None → Fire mode
Magazine capacity: 300 → 312
Rounds per volley: 7 → 24
Auto / Volley / Total are selectable through the left weapon menu, with Auto as the default. Volley fires 24 rounds; Total spends all remaining ammunition. The 312-round load provides thirteen full volleys.
MG-43 Machine Gun
Why the change?
MG-43 is the middle child of the three machine guns. The damage increase and faster fire-rate options give it a useful position between Stalwart’s mobile volume of fire and HMG’s braced heavy damage. A larger belt supports that general-purpose role, while medium penetration and a stationary reload preserve the reasons to choose either sibling.
9.5 — dependable AP3 general-purpose machine gun
Patch intent: The middle ground: stronger against armor and medium enemies than Stalwart, with less mobility and heavier handling. The “just give me a machine gun” choice.
Standard / durable damage: 90 / 23 → 125 / 38
AP direct / slight / large / extreme: 3/3/3/1 → 3/3/3/2
Capacity / maximum total rounds: 175 / 700 → 200 / 800
Ergonomics / sway: 15 / 1.0 → 30 / 0.9
Horizontal / vertical recoil: 17.5 / 25 → 15 / 22
Overall recoil: 21.25 → 18.5 (mean of horizontal 15 and vertical 22).
Stagger / push / demolition: 20 / 12 / 10 → 25 / 25 / 15
Reload duration setting: 4.5 → 3.5 s. Stationary reload is retained.
Rate selector: 630 / 760 / 900 → 630 / 900 / 1200 RPM. KEEP: 3 spare magazines, 2 starting spares; supply 2 magazines, ammo box 1 magazine; spread 4 / 4; stationary reload.
KEEP ballistics: 11 g projectile, 820 m/s velocity, 30% drag, 100% gravity and 25% penetration slowdown. No explosive conversion.
Shared-record effect: Selecting MG-43 also gives its shared damage record stagger 25 and Demo 15. This carries to native consumers such as the Machine Gun Sentry, Gatling Sentry and Patriot minigun, even when their own options are off. Existing shared 125/38 damage, extreme AP2 and push 25 remain.
Identity: 125/38 | AP3 | Demo 15 | 200 rounds | 30 Ergo | stationary reload
M-105 Stalwart
Why the change?
Stalwart is the trio’s reloadable bullet hose. Higher fire-rate options, stronger rounds and easier handling support continuous fire against soft targets while retaining the ability to reload on the move. Light penetration leaves armored work to MG-43 and HMG. Its 250-round belt and three spare belts are retained; the change strengthens its role without adding ammunition.
9.5 — light, mobile AP2 bullet hose
Patch intent: Best handling and ammo flexibility, with a huge reserve and moving reload. Armor remains its clear limitation.
Standard / durable damage: 90 / 22 → 100 / 40. The 0.9.4 change raises durable damage from the 0.9.3 value of 30 to 40.
AP direct / slight / large / extreme: 2/2/2/0 → 2/2/2/1
Ergonomics / sway: 40 / 1.0 → 55 / 0.8
KEEP recoil: overall 15; horizontal 12.5; vertical 17.5.
Stock reload timing and moving reload are retained.
KEEP ammo: 250-round capacity, 3 spare magazines, 1000 maximum total rounds, 2 starting spares; supply 2 magazines, ammo box 1 magazine.
Rate selector: 700 / 850 / 1150 → 700 / 1150 / 1600 RPM. KEEP: spread 6 / 6; stagger 15, push 10, demolition 10.
KEEP ballistics: 4.5 g projectile, 900 m/s velocity, 30% drag, 100% gravity and 25% penetration slowdown.
Shared-record note: Damage edits retain the runtime’s shared-damage scope; other native or dynamic consumers of that record inherit them. Handling changes are weapon-local.
Identity: 100/40 | AP2 | Demo 10 | 250 rounds | 55 Ergo | moving reload. Maximum-rate fire trades ammunition endurance for output.
MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun
Why the change?
HMG is built to reward planting a firing position and going prone for sustained heavy damage. Greater sway makes moving fire less accurate, while the existing stance stabilization rewards bracing the weapon. The larger belt and faster reload reduce the downtime that made that commitment overly punishing. It remains possible to move and fire; the tradeoff is accuracy, not a new movement lock.
9.5 — sustained AP4 elite/heavy killer
Patch intent: Brutal AP4 sustained fire with heavy standing aim. Crouching and prone use the game's existing stabilization mechanics; no new stance multipliers are added.
Standard / durable damage: 150 / 35 → 180 / 60
AP direct / slight / large / extreme: 4/4/4/0 → 4/4/4/3
Capacity / maximum total rounds: 100 / 300 → 150 / 450
Ergonomics: 0 → 20
Overall / horizontal / vertical recoil: 43.75 / 32.5 / 55 → 40 / 30 / 50
Sway multiplier: 1.0 → 1.5
Stagger / push / demolition: 25 / 20 / 15 → 35 / 50 / 20
Reload duration setting: 5.5 → 4.2 s. Stationary reload is retained.
KEEP ballistics: 52 g projectile, 980 m/s velocity, 30% drag, 100% gravity and 25% penetration slowdown. Ammunition remains ballistic; no explosive component is added.
Shared-record note: Damage edits retain the runtime’s shared-damage scope; other native or dynamic consumers inherit them. Capacity, handling and reload writes are weapon-local. In 9.5, Heavy Bolter retains recoil 35 / H25 / V45; HMG is intentionally heavier at 40 / H30 / V50.
Identity: 180/60 | AP4 | Demo 20 | 150 rounds | 20 Ergo | 1.5 sway | stationary reload
Credits and validation
Built from the published Arsenal Accord 9.5 settings, including GRASS-derived work and the Accord revisions identified above. Current HD2Runtime exposes the fields used by these packages. The standalone archives passed API, option-selection and combined-load-order checks; these checks are not a new live gameplay test. Breakpoint charts are calculated estimates under their stated assumptions. Use balance mods with a consenting squad.
Equipment artwork: Helldivers 2 / Arrowhead Game Studios; crossover equipment belongs to its respective owners. Unofficial fan balance project.
