It's a total of 133 sprites changed, I hope you like it.

To install this mod you got to use SOR4 Explorer.
I do also believe you got to have Mr X DLC. I don't think this color scheme is available at the base game.

After loading SOR4 Explorer, and reading the game files, navigate in the left panel to: / > animatedsprites > sor4 >playables > sprsor4blaze_a
Uncompress the mod folder somewhere at your hardrive.
Drag the 133 *.png files from the mod folder and drop in SOR4 Explorer right panel.
In the top right corner you will see a message saying 133 sprites were replaced. Apply.

Note: I'm adding to the download section the original sprites, just in case you want to revert back, without removing all your mods.
