I made a mod similar to other mods currently available for download.
It was to be a replacement to this one. Where you could make any armor adjustment you wanted.
To fit what you felt was balanced. Apparently it must have been reviewed as 'too cheaty' and removed. idk. It got nuked, no notification, no communication or specific reason.

And they didn't give me any communication on what if anything was going to far or could be changed to make it okay. It's just gone.

Which feels contradictory to what they said in this post:

"If a mod gets a lot of reports, we'll reach out and ask you to remove or fix it first before taking any further action."

My mod was to let you adjust various numbers about both tanks balance, like ammo capacity, rpm, armor levels, explosive resistence, etc etc
All within a config file.
And I shipped it with what I felt was a modest buffed config to use the tanks against bots.

But I guess they felt it went too far and just nuked it. No PM, no alert, no email.

I can't really endorse a site that acts:

A. hypocritial in how it wants to operate / left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing
B. Doesn't have the decency to communicate why, at the very least. Would be the bare minimum.

Just nothing.

If I continue sharing my mods it might be privately, via google drive or something.
Or elsewhere. This whole scene is kind of a clusterF. everywhere right now.

That sucks and I hope the staff here can gives a explanation but have a heads up. There's a huge raid happening from the HD2 Modding Community Discord server towards this site. They are actively mass reporting multiple HD2 mods here alongside trying to upload blatant cheat mods as false flags to AH. Maybe it was a mistake maybe it wasn't who knows but there's stuff happening that might've caused this.

What the hell?! That's bs. No wonder we got so little tank mods cuz everytime we "modified" our tanks/ favorite item in game it'll get nuked or whatever. When they can mod/modify their weapons right? If you think about it tank mod's actually buffing the team rather than ruining people gameplay...

Mod definition:
"Modding is the act of altering or modifying software, video games, computer hardware, or vehicles to create a custom version or change its original function.
- Video Games term: Rewriting or tweaking game code to alter performance, visuals, or add new player-created content."

Why build a modding site if we can't mod? There's even a sub for Trainer & Cheats which contradicts this

Maybe you could talk with them or someone higher? This is supposed to be an alt site for Nexus not Nexus itself.
