BLOOD DEBT — MELEE ARMOR PASSIVES REWORK
Three armor passives. Three ways to survive close combat.
Blood Debt expands Peak Physique, Rock Solid and Reinforced Epaulettes into distinct melee playstyles: aggressive sustain, frontline tanking and technical combat with mobility.
Works in solo play and multiplayer, whether you're joining public squads or playing with friends.
PEAK PHYSIQUE
Taking damage starts a gamble. Staying aggressive keeps you alive.
ROCK SOLID
Built for Helldivers who meet the enemy head-on.
A technical melee style built around movement, timing and controlled aggression.
PASSIVE HUD & SETTINGS
See your active passive, Rock Solid protection layers, Honor Guard melee defense and remaining temporary shield.
Move the passive emblems wherever you want with the integrated HUD editor:
Options > MODS > QETIMPORTA'S LAB > Blood Debt - Edit HUD > OPEN
Use either arrow on OPEN, drag your emblems, then SAVE. CANCEL discards your edits; RESET restores the default positions.
Individual features and supported values can be configured under the same QETIMPORTA'S LAB tab.
REQUIREMENTS
Pick your passive. Find your fighting style. Make them regret letting you get close.
A LITTLE NOTE FROM ME
I'm still learning as I build this, with limited tools and spare time, so the next steps will take a while. But I have a few things planned:

PEAK PHYSIQUE
Taking damage starts a gamble. Staying aggressive keeps you alive.
- Only 40% of incoming damage lands immediately. The remaining 60% becomes Blood Debt, collected gradually over 8 seconds.
- Blood Debt alone cannot kill you: it stops at 1 HP. Incoming attacks can still finish you.
- Melee Adrenaline restores health when your melee hits connect, helping you survive while your debt drains.
- Default armor vitality: 175 HP for light, 200 for medium and 225 for heavy, with adjustable values.
- The original +40% melee damage bonus stays intact.
- Wield the CQC-9 Defoliation Tool and Breaching Hammer one-handed.
ROCK SOLID
Built for Helldivers who meet the enemy head-on.
- Layered damage protection: 40% base reduction, 60% with a melee weapon in your loadout and up to 90% with a hammer, chainsaw or flag.
- Heavy impacts break protection layers. Your defenses can buckle under pressure.
- Reduced knockback helps you hold your ground while preserving normal knockdowns.
- +1 melee armor penetration.
- Normal 125 HP by default.
A technical melee style built around movement, timing and controlled aggression.
- A custom roll with adjustable distance and key bindings.
- A fast, one-second roll with terrain and collision checks.
- +2 melee armor penetration.
- 20% incoming-damage reduction while holding a recognized melee weapon.
- Melee healing with stricter limits than Peak Physique.
- Rolling or performing a vanilla dive can grant a temporary shield, with adjustable strength.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bingus Shared Loader
- A supported Mod Options Menu is reused when available; a fallback is included.
- Mod Bindings Menu is optional for custom roll key assignments.
- Changes apply to the passive, not the armor's appearance. If you use a transmog from any source, what matters is your equipped passive.
- Honor Guard's shield absorbs damage; it does not grant invulnerability.

I'm still learning as I build this, with limited tools and spare time, so the next steps will take a while. But I have a few things planned:
- Blocking.
- Parrying, with animations.
- More surprises.
