This isn't a fault with the mod itself, but rather a specific issue triggered by the physics involved in blocking. A temporary workaround is to dodge attacks or delay your block slightly. The root cause lies in the character's physics; while I could remove the physics entirely preventing the character from reacting to hits that isn't a proper solution. Hopefully, a fix for this problem will be available soon.
