Make sure you have the latest version of Bingus Shared Loader before downloading this mod.

Press Space again during hover-pack flight to descend early while preserving the pack's native landing assistance.
  • End flights early. Vanilla hover flight runs until its automatic cutoff. Release Space after takeoff, then press it again to begin descending when you choose.
  • Native landing assistance. The pack still slows your descent near the ground, including when you end a flight early.
  • Deliberate cancellation. Holding the initial activation press does not cancel the flight; you must release and press again.
  • Normal duration on the next flight. Ending one flight early does not shorten the next.
If you have rebound the Jump Pack action, use that binding instead of Space.

This mod is client-side only and does not affect how other players' hover packs operate in-game.

For those having issues with the mod loading

You must have Bingus Shared Loader and this mod must come before it in the load order. You must also purge and deploy mods when installing new versions.

This is what a successful install will look like in HD2 Arsenal. Note the green border which indicates the mods have been deployed to the game.

In my opinion you still get better mobility and distance with the Jump Pack. This mod just makes it easier to elevate/descend at will with the Hover Pack. Its a massive improvement but Jump pack still has its place

Hello,
Can you please make a version for the Jump Pack (you can jump when it's not fully restored yet but you jump less distance depending on how much it has recharged)

Pretty much. The issue with the original hover pack is that you're hanging around while you might want to descend. I.e. this mod is basically the behavior that should have been native to the game.
